“I had a not great experience with a groom but then the new Salon Lead, Christina, reached out and offered to make it right. Not only was she so kind, she explained why things were different with our groom. She then fixed up our dog and made her look absolutely perfect. I highly recommend her and if you have questions on wheat you need done she can guide you on what you need to do. I appreciate how kind she was.”

Yesterday I ended up at Petco by accident because I had the wrong information about where to go to get my dogs nails cut for yappy hour.
After my crap experience with Petco, I found the correct PetSmart location out in Heath Ohio. I arrived there in time for the 2 to 6 PM deal to get my dogs nails cut and the salon was already closed and it’s 5:40 PM. The staff didn’t tell me this until after they told me the salons in the back of the store and knew why I was there. So add it to my list of horrible customer service experiences yesterday.
I called the store that I should’ve gone to because they took such a great care of my dog last time, but my dog had also been to the Heath Ohio store previously so I figured either way it was going to be a win-win no matter what location I went to. I was clearly proven wrong.
Chris, who is the store manager attempted to rectify the situation with his store. His staff was willing to stay, however, given that I was 38 minutes away with rush-hour traffic I said that I didn’t wanna hold his staff up from leaving and with that they scheduled my dog to get groomed in the morning at 7:30 AM. We understood I would not get the discount, but the fact was that they did attempt to do service recovery even though they didn’t give me the initial bad experiences they attempted to go above and beyond to get my dog taken care of. So greatly appreciate them. My dog got her nails cut this morning. Will be returning only to this PetSmart as they clearly have it going on and our last several experiences with this location have been great. Five stars all around. Raises for everyone hopefully management is watching this.”
