Books-A-Million stores range from 4,000 to 30,000 square feet and offer a wide variety of products, including books, magazines, collectibles, toys, and music. Many locations feature special category shops within the store, catering to diverse interests. The stores are well-organized, tidy, and provide a welcoming atmosphere. Customers appreciate the extensive selection, which includes hard-to-find vinyl records, manga, graphic novels, and popular titles across many genres. The in-store coffee shop is a highlight, offering a good selection of drinks, friendly staff, and a relaxing environment for customers to enjoy snacks or their favorite beverages, such as frozen hot chocolates and Joe Muggs drinks. Visitors often choose Books-A-Million as their favorite weekend hangout spot, valuing the friendly staff, chill atmosphere, and the opportunity to browse through a large, diverse collection of books and other items.
Expensive, like all major bookstores. But a large, clean place with a great selection. Compared to Barnes and Noble, BAM seems to focus more on actual books, whereas so much space in B&N is taken up by toys, movies, etc. Found a copy of Battle Royale, which is awesome.
