Very unhappy with this auto shop
Brought my vehicle here last week for an oil change front brake job and to check 2 codes on my engine
After they diagnosed my vehicle they called back with a quote for $2700 and stated my back brakes needed changing my high pressure fuel pump needed replacing and that my vehicle was leaking gas into my oil and said I needed 4 new tire sensor batteries when only one was dead.
Had my husband go in a refuse services for everything aside from front brakes oil change and tire rotation they still attempted to charge us and do the back brakes after we told them no
we finally got my few things fixed and the very next day my car began making an awful screeching sound and they didn’t even reset my oil so I took my vehicle to a different shop they checked everything and informed me the ONLY thing wrong with my vehicle was a gasket cover and the timing chain
My back brakes are fine I have no gas leaking into my oil and no need for a high pressure fuel pump
I’m pretty outraged that this shop thought lying about what services my car needed to try to screw us out of thousands was the right thing to do
Also came here to say that they were supposed to honor an OSU employee discount for the oil change and decided to jack up prices of all the other services to cancel out the discount
Basically don’t trust this shop
Lack of professionalism lack of honesty and outrageous prices is what you’ll get

I came there with a tire that I was assuming would be patchable as it had been "low" for weeks but never went flat. Without calling me, they send me a text with a quoted invoice. When I called, they said that the tire was not patchable and wanted me to pay over $200 for a tire. I took it to another place and the tire was patchable. Don't advertise free patches if you are going to lie about a tire not being patchable to get service. I will never return.

People need to understand that the auto repair game, is just like the car sale game, and neither one of them are to be trusted. It's almost as if each entity is preying on the lack of knowledge of the customer.
Shop advisers earn a monthly and yearly commision, and it is their goal to squeeze the customer of every penny, to increase their bonus.
They've tried to sell me multiple services that weren't needed, to include telling me I needed new brake pads with 50% of the pad remaining.
Not only does this location have some of the highest prices in the area, but if one does not agree with what they are selling, they become irate and rude.
Jay needs a serious attitude adjustment, to include getting around some men of character and integrity, to teach him that lying isn't something that should be normalized.

I have had multiple great experiences with Midas in picktown. Jay the manager has gone above and beyond for me. I’m super appreciative. They were able to squeeze me in same day and never upcharge. Thank you guys for keeping my Nissan Rouge healthy, you guys rock.
