“I had a wonderful shopping experience today, thanks to Tim!! I had a "grab-bag" shopping list that was kind-of like a scavenger hunt and Tim was amazing telling me where I could find the desired items in the store. He even donated a sheet of old newspaper because I did not know where to find one. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!”

“Legit saw a tiny bird fluttering around in the store which made me look around to see if anyone else was seeing what I was seeing. At first I was slightly appalled but looking back on it (less than 12 hours later) I think it somehow may have enhanced the overall experience, made me feel like I was in a fun, inexpensive pet store or something? They also sell tons of different kinds of greeting cards for just about any occasion you can think of for way less than half the price of anywhere else??”
“I was genuinely surprised to see this level of design decor at Dollar General. The displays looked far more styled and elevated than I would normally expect here. The colors felt soft and coordinated, the pieces looked thoughtfully selected, and the overall setup had a polished seasonal look that really stood out.
What impressed me most was that it did not come across as cheap or thrown together. Several of the items looked like pieces you could easily mix into your home without them feeling overly budget or overly themed. Strong visual presentation, cute details, and a much better design impression than expected from DG.”
“We were here on Saturday about 4 pm, the place was packed, the line was LONG because there was only 1 cashier. Let me tell you about this cashier, Cora she was the sweetest, most pleasant woman the long lines didn't make her rude, we had a lot of stuff we figured she would dread seeing us but, it was completely opposite! If there were more Coras in this world we would all be so much better off. She was fast, friendly and happy to have a job. Dollar General don't ever let this gem go, she's not replaceable.”

Clean, well stocked and the aisles aren't cluttered with boxes of goods to stock.
Cashier (Trish) greeted everyone as they entered the store and was available to help. When checking out, Trish also interacted and held a pleasant conversation with me .

“Massively understaffed so aisles are cluttered with stock that hasn't been shelved yet. Every staff member has been friendly and helpful but there are just too few of them.”
