“Long, but interesting sory.
Back in 2005 my son entered the 8th grade science fair at St. Pius X. He wanted to try to enlarge the sweet spot on a bat without increasing the weight. He did some testing on standard bats. He was fortunate enough to have a teacher whose husband worked at Phoenix Bats. He turned two test designs and a final design for him. His design proved it was possible. His design took him all the way to the state science fair, where he took second place. End of story; almost. Fast forward to 2025, some Harvard grad working with the Yankees came up with a new bat design; a torpedo bat. I couldn't believe it; that was the same design as my son's bat design. Guess you don't have to be a Harvard grad to be an innovator. You just have to have an idea and a great company to work with. Phoenix Bats IS a great company. And yes, we still have the bat.”

We all had an amazing experience with the staff. They are patient and kind. They are very knowledgeable and know how to explain things that may be happening when you walk/run that you don't even realize. They give you a variety of options to try on. They do not rush you and answer every question.
The store is clean and organized. They even have a treadmill you can use to test out some shoes. I highly recommend going if you need shoes or any other fitness gear for running.”
