“One of their specialities is door repair and restoration, and they came to look at our pocket (sliding) wood door in our hundred year old house. One side of the door wasn’t sliding properly, and it had been that way when we bought the house. They diagnosed and fixed the issue within minutes. This opens lots of new possibilities for how we can use our space. Extremely professional, communicative, efficient, knowledgeable, and generous! We will work with them again when we get a chance to in the future.”

“Wow. What a hidden little gem of a vintage shop. Not sure if it was pure luck or just destiny but happened to have a plethora of 60s-90s suits all perfectly fitting me. Shop owner (John was his name) kindly offered a bit of discount since over 3-4 suits fit so well. Immediately upon walking in I felt a wave of the good ol days just wash over me. 10/10 business selling good quality, well kept vintage wares in Clintonville.”

I’ll be back anytime I’m in search of a wedding/birthday/special gift. I really had to limit myself because I could have easily bought a dozen items! Also, plenty of affordable items and I didn’t feel ripped off like I do in some similar stores.”

I especially appreciate the military memorabilia. In particular the WWII collections. I have heard kids questioning and grandparents answering. Incredible teaching tools. When we forget our history we repeat. Love it is a place to teach and learn”

“My comfort store. They receive new items everyday so no matter how many times you go, there will always be something new to look at. My favorite item are these modern matchbooks with pictures on each side. They were completely sold out last time I went. Hopefully the vendor restocks soon 🙂”

“I always have a good experience at this place. The “worst” part of it is that I always seem to get lost in the maze of the basement. But that’s part of the fun! One day I got there pretty soon to when they were closing, and I was rushing around trying to be considerate of their time. But the clerk assured me that I didn’t need to rush because she had a list of other tasks to complete anyways. Retail isnt always a fun job, and I’m sure unhappy customers can take a toll, so she was generous to encourage I took my time. I’ve gotten prints from here, a poodle statue, patches, and I’m sure more goodies that arent coming to mind. (Un)fortunately, this tends to be one of those places where walking in is a guarantee that I will spend money haha. But prices are very fair and reflect the fact that they don’t sell mass-produced type stuff you’d find at a Home Goods or Marshall’s. (Photos are of the things in my apartment and not the store!)”

“Auctions are dangerous 😂 That's why I love them! I lean toward the ones with good descriptions AND photos. Since I am looking for specific items the description is the place to search. When there are only photos it takes more time to find treasures. But I lucked out on this last auction with a really good buy. When there aren't many in person any more this is next best option!”
