“Would be 5 star... except had rude communication from a person there. She was supposed to pass along my info to her boss... but did not follow through and basically acted very rude to me. No communication. ??”
“Atmosphere and ownership is great. I visited A Gal Named Cinda Lou a couple of weeks ago, and was excited to find a copy of Hozier's albums on vinyl. Many other great options. My wife and I really enjoyed the conversation with the owner, and we took the time to enjoy a Coke from the classic Coke machine in the back. Fantastic experience.”
“This place brings the best of peoples homes from the Columbus area into one store. I love that their sales drop the price significantly each day if the usually 3 day fri to sun”
“So much of everything and fun to peruse. Don’t be afraid to make an offer especially the 10-20% variety. I got a fantastic deal as the shipping for these things are great but not the kind of great this Santa IS:)”
“A charming gallery located on a side street from all the major restaurants. I happen to stumble upon it and it was truly a gem. Everyone was so kind and the art work Was amazing. We also stopped by the Little blue House right next door. Where we got to see three amazing woman painting. It’s worth a visit for sure.”
“I visited Elm and Iron Clintonville, 3475 N. High St. in the "Clintonville" neighborhood of Columbus, on 11-24-2023. I have often walked past there while on my way somewhere else; I decided to actually visit there on the day after Thanksgiving.Elm and Iron Clintonville sells high-end home furnishings, accessories, and décor. They have been at their Clintonville location since 2012; they now also have a location at Easton Town Center and a warehouse [open Monday-Friday by appointment only] in Grandview.I had been greatly impressed by the quality of the merchandise that is for sale at Elm and Iron and the high-quality way in which that merchandise is displayed.I had visited there at dusk; the several photographs that I had taken while I had been there had been quite dramatic because of the quality of the light that had been coming in through the windows. The building in which Elm and Iron is housed had been built in 1929 to be a new location for a business in downtown Columbus whose main purpose had been to sell automobile tires. The Clintonville location of that business, according to a 1929 article in The Columbus Dispatch, offered complete motor car service. It is obvious, when looking at the architectural style of the Elm and Iron building, that that building had been constructed for a business whose main purpose would be to repair cars.If you are looking for some high-end home furnishings, accessories, and décor, I strongly recommend Elm and Iron.”
“Stopped here with the family. We enjoy looking through antique stores. Alot to see and so many different areas. If your in the area this is definitely a place to stop and walk through.”
“I came here with my husband and daughter - I was a bit hesitant after reading some of the reviews that the place was no longer cool and way overpriced. I am a huge thrift shop junkie, and visit thrift shops every single weekend. This is not a place where there’s going to be a bin of random junk to sort through that’s all under $10. But it is also not flower child where every single item is completely out of price range. I would say it’s somewhere in between the two. This place is filled with curiosities and eclectic items in a way that looks like basically every must have item you’ve ever found in a thrift store but all in one place. If nothing else is just extremely interesting to look around at all of the interesting things, and while it looks small when you first go in, it’s kind of a labyrinth throughout the whole place. There’s a lot of interesting items, and I managed to buy multiple things without breaking the bank. I would not go into this place as though it’s a cheap thrift shop, but I also wouldn’t go into it thinking it’s an extremely expensive and not cool place. I never went before when it was different management as some reviews have suggested. Both the people interacted with were extremely kind and nice. The place was very cozy and easy to navigate and it was very clean. It was obvious that it was very curated and there was really cool things kind of everywhere. Both my husband and I enjoyed walking around for about an hour or so and felt like we still didn’t see everything. If you’re someone that’s a collector, it’s a must stop place.”
“I can't say enough good things about this incredible store. Every time I shop there I find something new and unique to take home with me. There are home decor items galore and the inventory changes regularly and with the season. Such a great place to stop by for a gift for a friend or family member or even just for yourself!”
“I have worked with Jon, the owner, over the past 2 years for several complex clocks. His knowledge of clocks is amazing. He is always professional and personable. He is punctual and detail-oriented. He does a wonderful job, and his prices are reasonable. I rarely write reviews, but I believe Jon deserves a great one!”
“Amazing shop!! Very clean and the highest quality items with great prices. We were able to source a vintage American Standard lowboy toilet in mint condition for our 1939 home.If you live in the Detroit or Toledo area, it’s definitely worth the drive.”

3317 N High St, Columbus“Love this shop! The family that runs it is super helpful and knowledgeable about everything and have owned it for years. I like to stop in to check out their selection frequently…I find something new and interesting every time. A must see for any Columbus antique shopping trip!”
“Nice guy at counter, and they just opened so not busy at all. Clean but somewhat cramped spaces. Small parking lot and the Place is much bigger than it appears and quite a nice variety. Prices a touch higher than we are used to, but its worth a visit.”
“Great antique store. The setup of the place like other reviewers have said is not tidy but it adds to the charm and the overall shopping experience. The store owner is also very kind and nice to talk to.”
“Shopkeeper is very friendly and there are lots of cool pieces to see and its all set up very pretty! It’s a fun place to shop however the prices are a big outrageous, one I noticed was $45 for one glass cup when across the street they charge $45 for a whole set of 6!”
“An eclectic furniture and home decor store with unique items that would make a fantastic themed room, or just accents to be placed here and there. High quality, some one of a kind, all very interesting.”
“Bill did a skillful repair on a ripped seam on my black leather couch cushion. He completed it the same day at a price actually less than he estimated. I thought the couch would have to be discarded. Not so, It looks great. I'd recommend him to anybody. Great job.”

717 E 17th Ave, Columbus“I've been attending/exhibiting for years there but I don't understand why more of the Capitol City's millennials aren't shopping at the Columbus Show.”
“I'm happy with my gold bullion I got here, so far bought 82 grams worth. An unhappy reviewer suggested buckeye gold, but they have 50% more premium (markup from spot value), as was case with most online bullion dealers. Allen's coins has been around a long time.”
“My family and I have sold many pieces with Garth's Auctions. Mr. Jeffers and his professional staff have been very courteous and kind. I am very pleased with the final auction results.”
“They have amazing items in the store a lot of good quality decorations for holidays. The people that worked there were amazing super friendly and very personable. I found two gifts within minutes. This store is a hidden gem!”
