“Stopped at City, didn't know this was here, but it immediately became our dessert.Easy access off the busy intersection. Plenty of parking. A short line inside. Seasonal flavors that sounded good (we'd already tried several of them.) K got strawberry sorbet. Asked for whipped cream- they made a fresh batch. She loved it. I had a tropical smoothie. Very good on a hot day.Clean and cozy inside; some outdoor seating. Friendly, professional service. Free water, an old-school ice cream accompaniment. I'm sure we'll be back.”

“Anthony-Thomas chocolate is smooth, creamy, and perfectly blended in milk or dark chocolate. For me, it must be chocolate, but my family members who enjoy white chocolate describe it the same. The variety of flavors of cream filled, with nuts, nougats, solid chocolates, are amazing so you might wish to try mixed boxes until you find your favorites. My favorites are the milk chocolate maple walnut clusters; my husband's are pecan dainties. For Valentine's Day, I got our granddaughter a solid milk chocolate heart shaped box filled will sea salt caramels, for my mom a chocolate heart filled with truffles, for my son an grandson, hearts full of mixed chocolates. For special occasions, Anthony-Thomas has beautifully packaged candies - or take the package a and fill it with your choices! Holiday shaped chocolate items are always fun, a well as large shaped chocolate sets of interest like cheerleader, baseball, handyman, football, etc. Fun! Add fabulous cashews and mixed nuts and you can do all your special shopping and favors right there. I love the Powell Anthony-Thomas on Sawmill Parkway especially because of the lovely ladies who staff the store. I enjoy my visits there, and they just laugh when I come in three days in a row for another half pound box of maple walnut clusters because I ate them all in one day. Again.”

“Sometimes I don't think about recommending some thing that's been around so long. My 50 year old niece used to love to go to this place when she was a kid. I've been taken nephews and cousins and my own children here forever. Their chocolate ice cream is my chocolate Favorite, the kids love the chocolate cones! And I must say the service there is good because it seems to be like we spent about 1000 years in there to spend five dollars per kid lol and nobody else got impatient except me. There's not a lot of room in there but it's just a fun experience for kids and grandmas too”

“I visit several times a year to buy their Buckeyes, cherry cordials, and assorted chocolate boxes. Staff is always friendly. They haven't (yet) increased their prices even when everything else has increased. I love this place and especially the products they sell!”

“Excellent ice cream and service. Take home cartons and ice cream cakes. Prices are fair but not cheap. Feels and looks like ice cream shop so nothing special but good. Candy also sold here.”

“A bit hard to find, since they've moved from a storefront to an office in a nondescript building. Follow your GPS. It is just to the north of Wendy's, and you can turn in off High or down the little alley that runs directly behind Wendy's. They don't have the nostalgia candies anymore, but they do have plenty of good chocolates. The owner was super friendly, give me a couple samples and asked my tastes to figure out what I might like. I ended up with a pound of turtles and some chocolate covered pretzels. They are very very very good. You can buy them by the pound, although I think you can also get a half pound or whatever. But hey, it's good stuff, and although I will try to make it last, I know it will be gone pretty soon. Walk-ins are only on Wednesdays, so check their website for hours. Most of their business is online, and they have free delivery to a lot of Columbus, so that is probably a good idea for most. I happened to be nearby and made sure I came during their open hours. But hey now, free delivery of excellent chocolate? I will keep that in mind as a gift, or as a gift for myself.”

“A great Chocolate and candy store with a variety of choices and gift boxes. The server was friendly and I got some samples to try. Their fruit and classic milk chocolate tasted great but a little too sweet for me. They also had some decent Buckeye and Columbus gift boxes and birthday letters chocolates. Those gift boxes were a little pricey.”
