The manager and staff have always been extremely friendly and helpful. A trip to PIB is never complete without a stop here. Believe me if anyone has problems with this store or staff, it is their issue not the stores.”

“I love Newport Dry Goods store in Port Clinton. Women owned and run, which I love. The new owner is carrying some home decor items. Which is super cute for home and/or lake house. Nice assortment of clothing, sandals and shoes for both women and men. They carry some children clothing. Staff is helpful and friendly. Newport is now in Lakeside too!”

Ohio for the 2024 Solar Eclipse. I was in dire need of a cooler and was unable to locate one due to the small town being limited with resources. The lady working at The Village Peddler was AMAZING! I told her that I was visiting from out of town, and she gave me a cooler. I was thrilled that a total stranger would offer a complete stranger a cooler. It truly made the trip ten thousand times better. The store has many, many items of ladies clothing, and some self care items along with amazing knitted kids toys.
