“My wife’s car was involved in a hit and run while parked on the street in front of our house, which took the mirror off. I was out of the country with the military at the time, so she was dealing with it on her own. Another body shop quoted her nearly $1,000 to replace it, so she decided to get a second opinion at River Automotive.
Instead of trying to upsell her, the owner was honest and helpful. They explained that the mirror itself could be bought on Amazon for around $50 - something I could’ve probably figured out myself if I had been home, but understandably outside my wife’s comfort zone. They offered to install it for a very reasonable price, took great care of her throughout the process, and even replaced the battery in her key fob after noticing it was low.
