“There aren't enough stars for me to accurately rate the employees of First Federal Bank of Ohio: Sandusky; so I'm giving them a 5-Star rating. They are EXTREMELY personable, and they themselves are the reason I stayed with First Federal Bank of Ohio, even after I moved out of the area; and I'm very glad I did; because I've moved back to the Norwalk-Milan-Sandusky area; and there's something to be said for bank tellers who are as outgoing as they are. I've been with that bank, I think since about 2005; and for me to stick with the same bank for that long, is extremely rare; so rare, in fact, that I'd never stayed with the same place for this long; until I walked into the Sandusky branch. If you're in the Sandusky area, and you're looking for a great place to do your banking, let me recommend First Federal Bank of Ohio; Sandusky. Wherever you decide to bank, I would strongly suggest finding a bank that issues Visa Debit Cards, as opposed to MasterCard. Both companies promise Zero Liability in the event of unauthorized purchases; but MasterCard limits your protection to a maximum of two reported incidents in a twelve month period; whereas Visa makes no mention of such a restriction. Of course, you should always monitor your card usage, and check your Register Balance against your monthly statement; but there's always a risk of unauthorized use, regardless of how careful you are.”
“I was in the USA 2012 and 2014 in Ohio working at Cedar Point. Both times I opened an account at Woodforest. Let me tell you how professional they were.- Explained everything like to a five year old to me on how to open an account to a non-native.- always helped with the checks, no exceptions on details- The fees were at that time amazingAnd to top this off when I came back from the USA in my home country and cedar point did not close my account for salary they sent the money to my account while being in Bulgaria I had to call Woodforest so they can tell me how to proceed they helped me with no problem and closed my account without any fees.All-in-all amazing bank with the friendliest and most professional staff for 2012 and 2014.”

“Civista private banking is a good bank. I worked with Jessica Stuek and Michelle Gomez for the mortgage on my first home and they were always fast to respond and helpful all the way through. Their quick responses and great customer service were top notch for someone who had never purchased a home before. I don’t find the previous review saying the bank nickle and dimed them to be true, quite the opposite in my experience. Never paid any fees and always reimbursed for atm withdraws at non civista atms. Reason for 4 stars: IMO civista online and mobile banking needs some work. Not as user friendly as most other banks and banking apps. Can’t see transactions further than 2 weeks past without downloading your statement, web times out often, etc. Other than that, great experience”
