“A wonderful FLGS: open and well-lit, well-stocked without being cluttered. I had a great conversation with the owner today when I stopped in with my wife for the first time - we've just moved to the area and I wanted to check out our gaming options; Critical Hit checked every box for us. We didn't make any purchases today but will absolutely be back. The owner is extremely knowledgeable about both the products in the store and the culture and history surrounding them - from Pokémon Cards to indie TTRPGs, Critical Hit doesn't miss. P.S. The shop dog, Rufus, is a chatty little sweetheart - and the owner is very experienced at talking customers through meeting him! I was honored to meet the shop's brave protector up close.”
“This store is clean and well stocked. They have adequate staffing to help all its customers. They can help you place an order or find missing and replacement parts.

“Super tight receiving area, they said they only open the gates on the shipping side. If delivering the bags of styrofoam you will back in the dock 1 of receiving which has a cement wall on the passenger side. If the gate was open would have made it so much more easier to back in. Keep your bol’s til you are unloaded which will be about 30-45 minutes. Friendly staff. They will also blow out your trailer after unloaded.”
“We just made our first visit to S’il Vous Play and it was a great experience! There are cute gifts for kids of all ages such as books, toy trucks, doll houses and more. The two gals that work there were very personable and welcoming and willing to help or make recommendations. We visited to find a gift for a new baby and we are glad we did.”
“This Toy Store was Amazing!!! It's by far the biggest store I have been in specifically for toys and Hobbies. Around 10,000 square feet of toys! Staff was super friendly and the store was neat and well organized!! Highly recommend checking it out however old you are!! Brought back a lot of great childhood memories too!! Can't wait to visit their even Bigger Store someday.”

“Star pop is a cute little vintage store in the Waterloo District. We have visited Waterloo several times recently and this is the first time it has been open. We had to stop in and take a look. Despite being a small store the amount of inventory was enormous. You could tell the owner has been buying/collecting for some time. I think he was actually looking at items to purchase when we were in the store. Although we didn't purchase anything on this trip we will definitely stop by again. There appeared to be many hard to find items and items that were very nostalgic. It was fun to look around. The prices seemed fair.”

I did not realize Ollie's carried as many different things as they do
I went there to purchase a round area rug for my dining room table I also found some other items that I didn't expect to be found at Ollie's

My grandma brought me and my daughter here because she needed to pick something up, and my daughter loved it! they have little tables so your littles can play with the toys before you buy them, instead of just buying toys in hopes they’ll like it lol. the store is very clean, and their amazing staff is extremely friendly, and talked to me and my daughter the whole time. we will be returning very soon!”
“I visited this place on December 1st 2023 and purchased some nice t-shirts of Penny Hardaway & Dennis Rodman. They have plenty of team merchandise and apparel to choose from. The employees were very cool also as we were talking basketball knowledge. I will return there to get some more apparel. Facts !”
“They NEVER answer the phone. You just have to go and HOPE they’re open. BUUUT once you’ve made contact, it’s a very pleasant experience. The store is clean, the employees are always nice and knowledgeable. They change pretty frequently, but that’s to be expected. Overall I prefer going in store for games than purchasing online and GameStop makes that a pleasant experience.”

The decor is so organic and beautiful, and the staff are the loveliest gals you could ever meet (especially the over, Meg, who is a gem of a human). They sell some of my most beloved brands of both clothing and jewelry and they will ship anywhere to you: They have been my go-to for baby gifts since opening, and now I get to shop for myself there!!
