“They're always ready to go out of their way to help. Incredibly friendly staff, lots to choose from, well organized. You'd think it may not be the best, because it's in a small town, but this is THE Dollar Tree to go to!”

“I picked up a couple of things at the Dollar General at 5310 Cleveland Rd., Wooster, Ohio, the morning of 14 Feb., 2024. I paid for my items with a debit card, which I left in the machine. The checkout lady, Lisa, tall with bluish hair, ran out into the parking lot and returned it to me. Her attentiveness and concern for a customer saved me a nightmare. I thank Dollar General for employing people of high character like this lady.”
“This is one of my favorite stores because the workers are pleasant, and they have a reasonable amount of grocery items that I often run out of mid-week. It's organized and easy to find what I need without having to spend too much time. I also like that there's never a line of shoppers, as the case with the larger, stores.”
“What the heck is this dollar tree, it’s so clean and the flooring is nice than most homes lol. No trash,dirt marks or scuffs to be found. The bagging is a little slow but will make sure Nothing breaks.”

“Let’s talk about Brandy. She went over and above for an elderly customer today as she searched for the very specific item this customer was needing. As she checked her customer out, the customer said the item was her husband’s favorite treat, and he had been recently placed in a nursing home. Brandy was helpful, sympathetic, and attentive.”
“Exceptional service. I was passing through town and got lost (live 3 hours away and unfamiliar with the area). The employee allowed me to use the restroom and gave me directions to where I needed to go. Very friendly and helpful.”

“This store is usually cleaner than some of the other older DG stores in the area. Peg, a manager there is always top notch.Everyone is trying to find help, and this DG is no exception. Unfortunately I just stopped a little after 9 pm and they were closed due to lack of help.”
“I’ve never really had any major issues with this location, aside from one time when a software glitch charged me but wouldn’t let me take my groceries. Thankfully, I live nearby and was able to return once it was resolved. This all after going in about 4-5 times a week for the last 5 years.
A lot of the negative reviews seem to blame the employees for things that are really the responsibility of Dollar General as a company—like understaffing or the store’s condition, wrong prices all over the shelves. (Still something to keep an eye on with the current lawsuit going on with Ohio vs DG) They send these employees more product than the store can realistically handle, and there’s only so much space. Honestly, there are times I walk in and just feel bad for the staff. It’s clear they’re doing the best they can with the resources they’re given.
There was a former manager who wasn’t the friendliest (I always tried to be polite, but they just seemed fed up with the working conditions). That said, things seem to be heading in a better direction now. The store appears to be undergoing a remodel, and the current employees are friendly and doing a great job. It’s nice to see some positive changes happening.”
“It's a new store, shelves are stocked and the place is clean.. Most, " not all " Dollar General stores look trashy, and there's absolutely no reason why any store should be trashy looking.”
“I can't say enough good things about this particular DG store. It's clean, organized and well stocked every time I stop in. The ladies (staff) are incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to chat and offer assistance...this is almost unheard of nowadays. “I currently work here and I love all that the store has to offer!yes we are short on staff but we are trying our hardest to clean the place up and stock shelves.the semi truck parked in the parking lot is a trucker that delivers locally for the company and parks it there for the weekends.The store is not closed early anymore that we need it to be.Reasons for early closing is that the isles are fill with merchandise and there is no way to get down the isles..Safety hazard just letting people know”
“One of the cleanest most organized stores I've seen !!! Merchandise carts were on ends of aisles out of the way. No boxes or merchandise in middle of aisles. Girls working hard to put stuff up. Friendly. The floors were clean and spotless. Never seen such clean floors !!! The whole store looked clean. I live in Florida and was up visiting. Our DG look trashed and cluttered all the time !! This is how a store should look !!”

“Nice store! But, the employees are in backroom hanging out and seem to have a problem when they have to help you because self checkout register isn't corpoating properly. And, to top it off want to get aggravated because stuffs on sale and have digital coupons and want to say it something different.”
