BE CAREFUL WITH THIS BANK!!! They talked my mother into taking out a $10,000 loan she would never possibly be able to pay back. When my mother was finally so over her head she embarrassingly told me she took out the loan. I have been trying to pay this loan back for my mother and PNC makes it next to impossible to pay them back. It’s almost like they intentionally want this senior citizen to go into default so they can make additional money off of her. How pathetic, appalling, and unethical. Her income is $30,000 a year. With the cost of living, how can a senior citizen pay back a $10,000 loan??? All so someone could receive a little commission?? How do you sleep at night? Now, i’m trying to pay the loan off for my Mother but I live in a different state and PNC will not let me pay the balance even though I have all of the information on the account including my mothers social security code. They have to text the verification code to my mothers cell phone to confirm it’s her. She can’t text me the code fast enough when I call the bank pretending to be my mother.
My mother has given PNC permission to send the security code to my phone number. It appears to me PNC is intentionally giving loans to senior citizens who are unable to pay the loan back and then charging them way too much money when they defaults on the payment. Pathetic and disgusting! I would be ashamed to work for such a shameful Company.
I spent two hours on the phone yesterday trying to pay the balance off for my mother. PNC doesn’t want the balance paid off, I feel they are preying on senior citizens.
I don’t write comments on companies. I chose to take the time to write this comment because of how disgusted I was with their business practice.

Went to this PNC branch to get cash on 2/8/24. Cashier didn't ask if I wanted an envelope and didn't count out the bills before handing me the $200. Sloppy, lazy or both.

Have used this branch for three years. Initially was very customer centric but recently has gone down. 1st bad experience was in trying to have a vehicle title notarized. Was told they wouldn’t do it because I was the buyer and not the seller. Interesting requirement that I hadn’t experienced before. Went across the street to Chase and they notarized no problem. 2nd incident today, attempted to have a ticket notarized, they said they don’t do anything involving courts. Seems like aanother strange requirement as a document that is required to be notarized is likely involved in a court filing at some point. They suggested I go to the UPS store. I’ll likely move business from PNC as this is one of the services expected from a bank.

Terrible phone system. No one picks up the phone and the phone prompts don’t work. You can do better than this!

I went in today and was treated rudely by Rachel. I have been a PNC customer for almost 20 years and I have never been disrespectfully spoken to by a teller until today. This was my first visit to this location and I decided to write a review to share today’s poor visit. I have accounts with PNC as do my children. We were not greeted, we were abruptly sent away, and even though we have money and accounts at PNC; the teller would not look up my account or my daughter’s account so we could get cash. I ended up using the ATM, but I wanted my daughter to have a positive experience going to the bank for her own money. I have asked to have a manager call me— and they said it may be 3 or more weekdays before they could call me to discuss my concerns. This experience was so unprofessional, I am ready to move all 5 of our accounts to another bank.

Penny forced me to come into the bank in person (she insisted the drive thru would not be acceptable) for something the teller later told me was completely unnecessary. This would usually be just an inconvenience but during the pandemic it is a life threatening mistake.

If I could give this branch a 0 I would . I was racially profiled by a women of my own ethnicity group which is black ! I am beyond upset . I had a rather large check that I was trying to deposit in which was written to me by my personal attorneys and she questioned me why I was in that branch area when my license say I live in Another area. I asked her hat the relevance of he question , when one that’s not her business 2 the check is one of pnc checks She refused to cash my check. I am just livid I am ready to just take my business else where. To make a long story short I went over to another branch in maple heights and they was very respectful and kind . I was not under the impression that I should only go to a certain branch that is limited to my neighborhood.

I don't come here often because this branch is very busy. Today was no exception. I was the first customer in at the moment, then eight more people were in and out as I waited for my mother-in-law. There were so many questions and customer needs that the tellers were running back and worth. Watching was quite humorous as any busy place can be. The tellers were friendly and patient. Now in November, the sidewalk and parking lot is being worked on to become more handicapped friendly.
