Always and I mean ALWAYS, The absolute worst service imaginable. Shakes? Automatic attitude , No matter who is working. Must be trained to treat customers like crap because they don’t like their jobs? Location is FILTHY . Coffee? Tastes like dirt because the machines are not maintained. The list is endless. They oughta be ashamed to have these people on their payroll being rude to their paying customers.

Just moved to Springboro and every time I go in here they are out of something or cant serve something. The service is continually terrible and they are always rude. Store is outdated and small and always disgustingly dirty. This is by far the worst UDF I have been to in quite some time.

In addition to the store being filthy, they fill the shakes about 90% full and tonight they said they couldn't make a shake because they're out of milk. Um, how about you get some from your own store? Just an excuse

Our go to UDF. Best malts and shakes. Shout out to the employees working Sept 26 around 8pm because we had a blast in there. Super friendly and nice people.

Maybe the most rude person I’ve ever been served by in my life, I walked in waited behind the one person that was in front of me and then she asked what I want she already had a rude tone and then I told her I was getting 3 shakes she blatantly rolled her eyes and slammed the ice cream cabinet shut and went to I guess prepare the shake stuff, I told her that I wanted a chocolate shake with white milk and that sent her into a tailspin about how usually a chocolate shake is made in with white ice cream and chocolate milk and I need to specify what I want if I’m going to get “special orders” and proceeded to slam something down on the top shelf, that item then fell off the top shelf and knocked over the cup of milk she had just poured and then she glared at me as if it was my fault and then sighed and went on making the order, she was just very rude and visibly annoyed from start to finish

The employees here are terrible. They ALWAYS have an attitude. I never get greeted walking in. When I order ice cream it’s as if I’m asking someone for their first-born child. I get treated like garbage regardless of the reason for my visit and never feel appreciated for having come to shop here. I’ll take my business to the one south of the high school moving forward- at least they have a superior selection and can get through an ice cream line without an attitude.

This is the closest UDF to us and it’s a shame that it’s hands down the worst one we’ve been to - and we’ve been to many. UDF is our treat of choice… birthdays, anniversaries, you name it, we’re getting a milkshake. We’ve had a poor experience not just once or twice but every single time we’ve been to Springboro UDF. This is mostly centered around service but to be honest, the atmosphere and selections are also underwhelming compared to any UDF built in the 21st century. The most recent visit sparked writing this review - we waited over 20 minutes in line for milkshakes for the person working to shout out that she has made the executive decision to stop making them for the night because she’s overwhelmed. I’ve been there, I get it - but at least serve the customers who have waited so long and put a sign on the door for new ones coming in. She also shouted at polite kids waiting in line for not ordering loud enough or explaining what they wanted fast enough. Take it from a 3x disappointed, willing to cheat-on-her-diet, milkshake-less girl… It is absolutely worth the extra drive to skip the Springboro UDF and go to any other one instead.

UDF advertises that they have “the thickest shakes in town”. Not in Springboro. This location used to make thicker shakes, but that has been a few years ago now. Went yesterday to see if they had improved since we gave up on them a couple of years ago, but no, the consistency of our shakes was very thin, like drinking slightly thick flavored milk. We’ve been to other locations that are way better. We won’t be getting shakes here again.

A lot of problems:
Out of a bunch of flavors.
Wouldn’t make shakes because they didn’t have enough supplies.
My daughter’s ice cream was super melted like the freezers aren’t working properly.
Girl that check us out put her head down on the counter like she wanted to sleep.
Won’t be back. I’ll go to the one in Lebanon instead. That one is at least has basic items stocked.

They were out of chocolate ice cream so I had to sub. The alternatives were okay. I got two “chocolate” malts, that tasted like brewers yeast and had an awful aftertaste.
I’ve had good experiences in the past. Will try again

The assistant store manager made the best malt I have ever had. And at age 60+ that is quite the accomplishment.
I asked for a strawberry malt and he suggested to make it with chocolate milk. Uh? Said it would add some depth to the flavor and make it taste like a frozen chocolate strawberry eclair bar.
He then proceeded to put it all together correctly, the amount of ice cream, malt, and mixing.
Brilliant!

The manager and employees are all very rude. When I have walked in there at 7:50 am in the morning no one there l am getting my coffee on the way to work, the manager clearly saw me and walked into the back office as I stood at the counter.
