I bought a phone refill a couple months ago. It printed my pin as part of the reciept, and worked fine. I buy another refill yesterday. They never give me an original receipt, giving me only a reprint which omits the pin. Pretty sad when you can't even rely on a big gas station chain to buy a simple thing without stealing your money. There's no way for me to get a refund since the pin only gets printed with an original receipt. Wow.

Why does it say open 24 hours if they randomly close it for no good reason no note on door no nothing. Some just need a quick drink to keep driving safe. False advertising saying your open 24 hours and not being reasonable in any way locking the doors with no note no nothing. Probably a lazy employee trying to avoid their duties. Another gas station can have our money. Note to avoid Thortons including with their 24 hour lie. Speedway never plays these games I have one I go to and they never lock the doors if they say 24 hours not for cleaning not for stocking not for anything. And if it’s something serious like a power outage there’s a sign on the door. No wonder this place is going down hill.

Dirtiest Thorntons I've EVER seen. Mind you I work all over the Chicagoland area BTW.
Bathroom was horrible, and as I left I noticed that the floor throughout was obviously not cleaned in a while. Even the front door was filthy anywhere hands weren't regularly touching.....
It was bad enough that I left a review which I basically never do for gas stations!

Kevin is a bad clerk. He acted as if the store phone didn't work and didn't have any compassion or kindness and consideration that I was stranded when my phone went dead as I came here for help not knowingthe area at all. He also said the chargers and the adapter was thirty dollars and slammed the cheaper ones around that's behind the counter. He was very rude when I needed help, help that I thought would be given at this store from a employee. Thank God that a young black customer over heard me asking for help and allowed me to use his phone to call my family. How does people like Kevin get to be hired in places gas stations that cares nothing about other human beings. Horrible! Thank God that I was able to give the address to my daughter to help me by coming to my rescue on another customer phone. United States have so many people like Kevin. Such a darn shame! That's Mt experience at this location!

Never have full stock of anything in the Cafe. No cups, no lids and no cheese on a sausage egg and cheese buscuit!! Very poorly run store,

I frequent this store most mornings before beginning my delivery route. It is usually a pretty reliable stop, but as of late their coffee station has been lacking. Specifically, their machines are broken and the milk/half & half dispenser has not been filled for weeks now... The small containers of half & half they offer in lieu of this have a cringeworthy taste to them. Hoping they rectify this soon!

Fine, I try not to use the bathroom cause it's usually gross unless it's right at the beginning of the day.
They also seem to have changed doughnut suppliers because they have become smaller and taste worse.
They added a pizza oven that makes surprisingly good pizza, which is their best offering for the money atm.

Worst Thortons ever. They are always out of stuff. A lot of the staff are to busy on their phones to be bothered with old fashion sentiments like, "Good Morning " or "Thank you". Most times the only contact they have with you is the final price. Oh yeah and don't go in the men's room. No way you could clean a restroom and Facebook at the same time. Embarrassing!

This is not my favorite location. Staff isn't very friendly. I felt like I was a nuisance instead of a customer. The other three locations I frequent is much better.

Don’t be a jerk when I try to pay with $100.00 bill. I wasn’t buying just a stick of gum. 4/19/24 went to pay and I had a $100.00 bill. I bought $16. And some change of items. No biggie. When I handed the guy my money he sighed and shook his head. He had a semi dramatic scene about giving me change. Continuing to shake his head and mumble at me. You had the change! You had 4 registers going, it was busy, all you had to do was give me my change. But you were a jerk mumbling shooting me the side eye. You didn’t even ask if I had smaller bills. You just huffed and puffed like a toddler going to throw a tantrum. And before I even picked up my items from the counter you turned to your coworker and started complaining about the transaction. This isn’t the first time I had issues when trying to pay with cash. I had a $20.00 bill once and you’d think the register didn’t tell you what I need back in change.
I know speedway will gladly take my money and not pout about the transaction.

Poor guy was working as fast as he could all by himself. Customers wrapped around nearly the entire inside of the store (no wonder all the pumps had a car by them)
