“A fairly friendly VFW Post, my family came up for their chicken dinner. I'm not sure why they are only doing only cash in this day and age but it is a very nice place to visit and grab a drink.”

“This place always has a good night shift crew, the man is always so nice. They have a good selection and a clean store. They usually have some nicer inventory too. I can always count on a few good finds here and it's usually not overcrowded either which is a huge plus.”

“Hi, I’m Myra.

Today I did something that means a lot to me.

I cut my hair and donated it to help children who have lost their hair.

I loved my long hair, and saying goodbye to it wasn’t easy. But I knew that it could help another child feel like themselves again.

As my hair was being cut, I wasn’t thinking about what I was losing. I was thinking about what someone else might gain.

A little more confidence…

A little more comfort…

And maybe a bigger smile…

This experience taught me that kindness doesn’t have to be big to make a difference.

My hair will grow back, but the hope and happiness it may bring to another child could last much longer.

Thank you for being part of my journey. ?”

“I do Silver Sneakers with Olga. It's an all-around exercise class for seniors. She explains what she is doing, and is very knowledgeable about anatomy. It's fun and she knows everyone's name. Try it...you'll like it!”

“Nice spacious facility a lot of amenities between gambling the small bowling table indoor and outdoor areas to seat and they have a kitchen most times serving lunch or dinner which is nice. Good use of plexiglass around the bar area to provide separation between the patrons.”

“I’ve been attending Renew for a little while now, and it has truly become a place of encouragement, growth, and community for me. From the warm welcome I felt on my very first visit to the meaningful worship and teaching, every aspect of this church reflects a genuine love for God and people.

The leaders and congregation are approachable, caring, and invested in helping each person grow in their faith. I’ve especially appreciated the opportunities to connect with others through small groups, events, and service. Every time I attend, I leave feeling inspired, supported, and reminded that God is working in and through all of us.

If you’re looking for a church that combines strong biblical teaching with authentic community, I wholeheartedly recommend Renew!”

“This place is within Gunning Park, which was named for my Grandfather Thomas J. Gunning, he was a long time Councilman in Cleveland and served a term as President of Council. He was also a Lawyer and had a practice on Lorain Avenue for over 3o years. this place is well maintained and the staff is excellent. Special thanks to Marie Russell, who showed us around and had taken it upon herself to learn quite a bit about my GrandFather. thanks Marie and staff.”

“I went here for over 7 years. I hated it at first, was bounced around from one doctor to another doctor and then another, all in the first 6 months! When I got to the fourth one and was so fed up I started crying while I was explaining it (my mental health was at an all time low at that point), she very calmly looked at me and said it’s ok, you’ll only see me from now on. She quite literally saved my life over the years. She was kind and compassionate and attentive. She not only got me on the correct medication but offered me counseling, and when she realized I wasn’t comfortable with anyone else she did my counseling. I feel terrible seeing these reviews of people that had such bad experiences but I can only agree that yes, that was exactly how I felt the first 6 months there! Then I had the luck of being seen by Dr. Hernandez and that all changed. She truly is one of the sweetest human beings. Them closing the therapy part of recovery resources and stopping it this month is horrible, I hope I end back up with Dr. Hernandez because I have no desire to be seen by anyone but her. I really do hope MetroHealth brings her in! She would be an asset to any place she is working!”

“I had a great experience with this organization. Although it did take a few tries to get on their schedule, it was worth the wait. The crew came and moved a queen mattress, 2 chairs and bedding out of the house in a matter of minutes and were very friendly. I’d choose this over dumping items at Goodwill any day.”

“I drove on the Ohio Thruway 2 days ago for the second time. These are the things I liked about it:

1. Consistently 3 lanes--no lanes suddenly ending or starting. It was nice not to have to weave in and out of traffic.

2. No unnecessary signage, plenty of trees lining the highway, thus fewer distractions.

3. Police on watch throughout. Safety vans attended disabled vehicles.

4. Not having to stop at a tollbooth with EZ pass.

5. Roads were plowed and clear.

I can't comment on the problems other people have had with EZ pass, but overall the thruway in Ohio seemed very well managed to me.”
