Plato's Closet, a popular secondhand clothing store, has received mixed reviews from customers. While some have had positive experiences, others have expressed frustration with the store's selective buying practices. Many customers appreciate the store's quick evaluation process, with reviews mentioning that their items were assessed in around 15-30 minutes. The staff is generally described as polite and professional, though not overly enthusiastic. Customers understand that the store cannot buy everything and are satisfied with the cash they receive, even if it's not as much as they had hoped for. However, some customers have been disappointed when the store declined to purchase certain items, even if they were considered trendy or gently worn. The store's preference for more specific fashion trends can be confusing for some sellers. Despite this, many customers continue to shop at Plato's Closet, finding great deals on gently used clothing and accessories. Overall, Plato's Closet offers a convenient option for both buying and selling secondhand items, though the selling experience can be hit-or-miss for some customers. The store's focus on current fashion trends and efficient operations seem to be the driving factors behind both the positive and negative reviews.
Went to sell some shoes I couldn't fit anymore. Quick 20-30 mins ish Don't expect alot. Something is better then nothing when you were going to donate them anyway.

When in today shortly after they opened. It only took them about 10 minutes to look through everything. The girls working were nice and the store was clean. I’ll definitely come back when I’m ready to unload more clothes.
