“February 1st 2024 was the day we lost our family kitty Missy. She was suffering so we took her to Akron Barberton vet to be put to sleep peacefully. I cannot say anything bad about this place. The doctor even spoke so softly and loving to my Missy, which in return made me cry harder, but that was going to happen period. I am just truly thankful that I could come up with the money for both euthanasia and so we could get her ashes back. When something like this happens unexpectedly, it makes it difficult because it's a little pricey, but I wanted my babies ashes home with us. The overall experience was absolutely comforting.The doctor and assistant came in and started preparing our girl gently and respectfully. I did not wish to see any of this but I wasn't leaving our girl. We watched each other till the very end when the light left her eyes and she just laid there. Looking back, it was truly surreal. It happened in the blink of an eye and I know she went peacefully. As much as I wanted her to pass with us at home, I just couldn't watch her suffer any longer.Missy, wait for us on that rainbow ? bridge. We will be there one day with you. Your with grandma now and she's gonna love you till we can again. ? ❤️ ?I'm not crazy about vets, but if ever I need one for my other babies, Akron Barberton Veterinary clinic has a couple loyal clients now. Thank you for caring so sweetly about our baby. Even during the worst storms, light can be seen.”

“Early this morning, 8/25/2023, our almost 20 year old cat (Rusty) was bleeding profusely from her left paw. We rushed her to Mogadore Veterinary hospital. Dr. Whittington and his staff examined her very soon after we arrived. Dr. Dave Whittington fixed the bleeding and we picked her up around 2 pm to take her home. We can't praise and thank Dr. Dave and his staff enough for such quick, accurate, and compassionate care of our cat. “The most compassionate people! I had to make the very difficult decision to let my basset hound go. As soon as we walked in the door, we didn't even have time to sit down, we were quickly greeted by staff that took us directly to a room. I respect this more than I can say because it was already a difficult day. They also didn't waste any time before they started the process which was great to not prolong the inevitable. All that being said, this is not my normal vet (but soon will be) but my vet wanted to do a full exam before determining that she could be put down so a full vet visit along with euthanasia would have been pointless and costly. Thank YOU Cuyahoga Falls Veterinary Clinic! See you soon for my other dogs. I appreciate the compassion so much!”

“Love Dr. Bilger and staff. Our family brought our 9year old Crested Guinea Pig in for a mammary cyst and received the most respectful, sensitive and professional treatment including detailed explanation of potential causes, treatment options and alternatives. This level of care hasn’t been experienced with any of the other dozen specialty veterinarians who we’ve seen in the past. Strongly recommend this group of professionals.”

“I have a diabetic cat (Lance) and my Vet was out of town. I called Highland Vet Clinic, and they set me up with an appointment and were very helpful in my time of need! I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a knowledgeable, caring pet clinic! I found them to be very reasonably priced. We have 5 dogs and 2 cats and with Lance being diabetic we are at the Vet's office quite often.”
“Went in for an end of life visit for our elderly cat. The staff was great and gentle. They ensured everything went as smoothly and as dignified as possible. It was a hard day but the staff made it just a little easier to say goodbye.”
“Doctors seem nice, so does staff. I think the prices are high, but that could be since I don’t have much money. I don’t know how comparable they are with other vets. They always fix the problem when there’s something wrong with one of my cats. I had a very sick kitten last year that had to be put too sleep. I took her there because I didn’t know what too do because she was dying. I was visibly upset, and had no money. She was dying and they took her in and put her too sleep and let me make payments. I know they don’t really let people make payments, but they did so in this case. I was trembling and I think they felt sorry for me and my kitten. I payed them back as soon as I could. I will never forget the kindness they showed, doing that for me and my kitten. I only wish they would have let me come in with her, but I couldn’t because of Covid. Recently I’ve taken two of my cats there because of health issues, and they are doing so much better. The one I took this week had a large and painful bladder with blood in his urine. The doctor took him back and found all this, and said he had crystallized stones in his bladder. He removed a large one which was causing a blockage. He told me he had too be on special prescription food too get rid of the stones, which is very expensive. I bought six cans because that was all I could afford, and I couldn’t get my cat too eat it too save his life. So I called office too see if there was medicine I could give instead, and hopefully something that would maybe be cheaper. The doctor said yes and prescribed it and I got it right there at the office. My cat has been on it for 3 days now and seems so much better. I can’t wait too tell Dr Kubera. I just wish he would have prescribed it in first place, but he didn’t know my financial situation at the time. The lady vet Dr Bishop is also good too. She treated one of my cats in October, and within 4 days my cat was all better. They may be expensive but at least they are saving animals lives. So if you ask me it’s worth it. If I had the money I would go there more often, and stop putting issues off so long. They get five stars for saving my kitties, even though the kitten was beyond saving, they did stop her suffering.”

“I took my almost 13 yrs old Sheltie, Rafiki (Rafi) to Turkey Family Pet Center Friday Feb 3 2024. I thought I would not bring him home. The assistant Corey was so sweet to my dog. Carried him to and from the car into and out of the office. He loved on him and was so helpful. We think he has cancer from the blood work but his issue that day was mobility and he is old and has arthritis. Corey did see him get up and walk some so Dr Horst decided to try Carprofen and Antibiotics to see if we got lucky and had more good time with him! Well it's Wednesday now and he has been doing real good. He can get up and down himself, go up and down stairs and walk the fenced in yard. I will take what time I can with my lovable companion as long as he's not suffering. Thank you so much Dr Horst and Corey. And thank you to the whole staff. Everyone was pleasant and compassionate! The waiting room is beautiful and very relaxing.”
“Our previous vet stopped taking dogs and I ended up giving it a shot here and have to say the entire staff went above and beyond. I was a little abrasive and untrusting given the circumstances. However, the Dr and staff remained kind and compassionate throughout the process. During her dental exam the dr noticed what looked like cancer and upon further investigation that’s exactly what it was. I’ve had these skin spots checked through my girls life and have always been told they are not a concern. I am eternally grateful for everything your staff did for me even when I wasn’t being kind. Crystal made sure both Aria and I were comfortable throughout the process. Thank you all so much!”

“I brought my 3 month old kitten and one year old cat here because my normal vet was booked for the next few days. The staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and thorough. They made me feel heard as I was discussing my concerns, mentioned different treatment options, and gave me a quote of the price. Very affordable prices, cost me less than 400 dollars to have both cats examined, given injections, urinalysis, antibiotics, and probiotics. Such an incredible service when the only other option is the emergency vet, which I’m certain would have cost significantly more.I arrived a half hour before walk-ins began and I was seen second in line, but the parking lot was very full as I was leaving. I can imagine the waits could be quite long if you don’t plan on arriving early. Plan on bringing food and water for your pet incase of a long wait!I’m very grateful to all the staff for their help and would absolutely come back and recommend them to anyone in need of veterinary care :)”
