“Muffler Man is a great local shop in Athens. They replaced the alternator on my Jetta TDI, which is a pretty complicated process. The prices are very reasonable, the communication is excellent, and the team is friendly. They even fixed a loose bumper for free while replacing the part. I will definitely come back again.”

“The team at Don Wood Ford was excellent!! I was up here in Athens visiting my son and came in for a part for my Camry. I've been looking for a truck for months, so I decided to look around and Mark Dellinger at the Ford store in Athens was super helpful. He found me exactly what I was looking for. I was a little bit on the fence and of course they worked with me to get me the best possible deal. I used to work for Don Wood about 19 years ago as a salesman and the fact that I've bought 4 trucks from them over the years should tell y'all a lot. I’ve had the pleasure of speaking with Will and Danny at Sundown. They are transparent when it comes to explaining exactly what the issue is, and have showed me how certain parts work, what they should look like at functional performance, and what signs to look out for when a part is needing replaced. They stay in communication with me throughout the service process. Their prices are a third of the price of other shops. Everyone here is personable, realistic, and takes delicate time and care with their customer’s valued possessions. I highly recommend this locally owned shop. I trusted them with my vehicle for about a month and could not be more pleased with their dedication to getting back on the road. I am happy to have finally found a shop I can trust! “They are so easy to deal with and I appreciate their honesty and work ethic. They could have easily scammed me by selling me 4 new tires like two other large businesses insisted I needed. However, after visiting them they said my other tires were in great shape and I only needed to replace the flat tire. Their prices are SO reasonable. “It was a Sunday afternoon, I was 90 minutes from home and my tire pressure began to drastically reduce. I pulled in, explained my situation and within minutes they were able to repair my tire from the piece of metal I had run over. They were life savers that day. Highly recommended!!! I called Ron's garage and less than an hour later I had EXACTLY what I was looking for! Two very gently used tires mounted and all for 1/3 of what every other place was going to charge me!! “Very very honest owner I really thought I needed new brakes, took my car into and Paul looked at it called me back and said there was nothing wrong with my brakes. I feel like taking this to a big corporate shop they would have just replaced my brakes anyway. I will most definitely be back for anything we need with this car. Its hard to come by an honest company anymore I am very impressed and very appreciative especially since we have a little one on the way in less than 2 months so saving money is a big deal!”
