But, if you have a prescription and it's been there for a few days without being picked up they should put a call in to the patient. Not just sit on it.. Sometimes my Dr will send something in for me and It may slip my mind. So it would be nice to get a call or a email informing You that you have a script waiting. No problems or concerns other than that. I'm glad I switched.”
“Pretty much the only compound-pharmacy game in town, so they can afford to have poor hours (closed on weekends; only open one evening a week) and slow turnaround times (I've sometimes had to wait days on end for an order). 4 stars, though, bc the staff are knowledgable, professional, and friendly; they conveniently text you once the order's ready; they took Covid protocols seriously; and the place is very clean and generally well run.”
“A family owned pharmacy is where you get the best customer care and Kahler pharmacy is the best, hands down. I've been coming to this pharmacy for 40 years. We moved away from the neighborhood many years ago but we still drive in to Toledo to get our scripts because they care about their customers. They treat you like family. 😊”
“I moved back to Toledo a few weeks ago to my surprise The rite aid was closed down that I used before. My prescriptions to James pharmacy a week ago but my doctor didn't. I called back today to inquire about my prescriptions I said about three four words to the person on the phone and they knew exactly who I was and told me my prescriptions were ready. “What happened to the Great seafood selection?? Back in the day, you could see lobsters swimming in a tank. NOW, They are Barely hand-sized tails at 10 bucks a pop! They didn't weigh but 7oz total for $20.”
“The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the item that was prescribed for my family member. Measurements were taken and available options were presented in a timely manner. Instructions for use and care were also shared. Very pleased with the service. Insurance was explained upfront so we knew how that would be processed. Would do business again here!”

“I originally came in for a flu shot because Rite Aid closed. We decided to keep this pharmacy for our family and have never been happier. They are efficient, thorough with Rx directions and they treat you like family.
I’m not going to get on their case for not being open on Sunday but unfortunately I had a moment where I ended up at urgent care and needed to have something filled on a Sunday very badly. Though I didn’t want to, I picked another big pharmacy (CVS) just for this time. Their pharmacy would not let you talk to a person if calling by phone. 5 hours later from sending over the Rx, it still wasn’t ready. My husband took a side errand while they filled it. When he got back they didn’t have our insurance info so they tried using Good Rx. He then gave our insurance info which could have been done when it wasn’t ready when he first arrived.
We got the medicine but as badly as we needed it and as much trouble as it was worth I knew Sylvania Family Pharmacy would never have put us through that much trouble. Comparing and contrasting these experiences made me love this little pharmacy even more. My first prescription I got filled here was on a Monday morning for my son and I was done within 15 minutes of opening. The staff was very busy in the back that morning too but I was still able to pick up our Rx that quickly.
Bigger isn't always better. Go small, invest in your community. If you’re looking for a pharmacy, this one is a winner.”
“I switched pharmacy when rite aid closed to Toledo family pharmacy after having bad service from rite aid & them closing Toledo family pharmacy on main Street East Toledo it is amazing to get someone who is caring and understanding about my needs for meds after going through lung cancer radiation and chemo & i lost my wife in March the service that I have received from Toledo family pharmacy is amazing Ahmer and his staff treated me like family I would recommend anyone looking to switch go or call them they are a fresh and healthy place to go and the service is outstanding”

“My guest dog is not actually a patient here, but I did call Ann Arbor Animal Hospital late at night, because I needed advice about my dog's rapid breathing. I cannot remember the name of the person I talked to, but he told me what to look for and set my mind at ease. Sure enough, the dog was fine the next day. There's something to be said for a place that can offer 24/7 vet care. Thank you!”

“Had to switch pharmacies due to insurance, and I was bummed to leave Walgreens across the street because they'd worked really well for my family and me. However, this Kroger pharmacy has been fast and reliable, and the employees are personable. I wish the app was a little more robust in terms of notifications, but it is easy to request refills, and they're filled in a timely manner. Some issues with the CVS prescription coverage providing only 30-day and not 90-day refills, but they've seemed to resolve that.”

“My usual drugstore recently closed, so I have been checking out HealthyRx. So far, I really it! I've filled a few prescriptions and gotten a vaccine. I don't think they have an app or phone system for easy refills, which is my only concern, however I believe they are working on one. Overall, I think this is a great local pharmacy.”
