I’ve had a unit here for over 2 years and have never so much as been late on a payment. Yesterday, I received an email that the lock I had on my door was not an authorized lock and I had 48 hours to remove it or they would cut it off. A bit threatening, but whatever. So the day after receiving that email, I stop in and buy the approved lock and go to put it on my unit and wanted to get in my unit while I was there. But when I got to my unit there was another lock on there that Uhaul put there. I called as I had already brought up my stuff to put in the unit, and they said they put those locks on when units are not paid up to date, which I AM paid up to date. When I emailed the woman who initially contacted me she stated they put their lock on because of my unauthorized lock. How is that logical when they gave me 48 hours to fix it and no one ever mentioned this other lock prior? So if your lock isn’t okay, they’ll just lock you out despite being 100% timely and current with payments since June 2022.

The u haul on counsel st. In toledo ohio is the worst place I've ever had to rent a truck from I 61 yrs.they are continuing to go into my checking account trying to deduct all kind of different dollar amounts (57. 46. & 35. Dollars) I called them and was told by this very rude and unprofessional so called manager that I owed them fees for this and that. I returned their truck with over a half tank, cleaned and I went less than 15 miles and gave them a deposit. They are pathetic and I wouldn't advise anyone to go there

I ordered 8x10 storage unit at Council Street in Toledo, Ohio. Two employees sent me to seven storage units that measured 6x10 instead of 8x10. Desiree, who cleans units, measured two of the seven units and those two storage units measured 6x10. I told general manager and asked for compensation for my time going to seven mid-sized units by giving me 10x10 for $84.95 and encouraged her to measure storage units herself that I got sent to; she insists no 6x10 storage exists at U-Haul location. I will have people stay awake from this U-Haul location for storage.

Very friendly I came in two days in a roll to rent and both days everyone was friendly and polite. No rudeness just making sure you get what you needed to handle your business!

Waited for 30 mins after pushing the ringer bell. Went in to see what was taking so long, the lady said it was just her. So we waited some more. When we asked the lady when we was gonna be helped she very rudely told us we need to be patient, and then she helped someone who came in AFTER us!!!! Uhaul needs to get there act together!!! 1 day and 2 different uhaul sites, and we got nothing but attitude!!! Uhaul won’t get my service anymore!!! Reliance is overall a better place!!!!

I hate this place. Everytime I go there, some issue beyond anybody's control seems to crop up. For example, today, some guy behind the register couldn't figure out how to take a simple cash payment for a guy's storage unit. While I'm waiting in line for a good 10 minutes the manager lady finally comes out to help the employee. Then when it was my turn, the incompetent worker came out to check the date stamps on all the tanks. Fine - no issues there - but then after waiting outside for another 15 minutes in 20 degree weather I finally went inside and the manager lady said she couldn't fill the tanks because I had too many. I keep trying to give them business, but they don't want it I guess. Why as a customer should I have to jump through hoops to give my money away. They should be begging and going above and beyond to keep me as a customer. I'm done with them. I'd rather drive 30 minutes out of my way instead of coming here.

If I could give 0 stars I would! The guy Richard B charged me twice for my purchase then acted like he could resolve it and typed on the computer for 15 minutes just to call the manager and ask how to resolve the issue which she said for me to call the help line since the receipt showed that I was charged once ignoring what my bank stated. I was highly upset and I think Richard has been getting over on people long before I came in today. This issue WILL BE handled

Went to rent a truck and the manager told me they only accepted credit cards(I've used both Debit/Credit before). She said it has been a part of their policy for 90 days. I called Uhaul and they said it is not a part of company policy. She lied so fast as well. Never trust managers who lie about company policy, when they could tell the truth.

I frequently rent from this location, the managers have been helpful in ironing any rental issues. I found Ciara to be helpful and professional.
