“Tim is excellent at what he does, and the most honest mechanic I've ever met. He saves all the parts he replaces, so you can see what was wrong with them. I've never had to take my car back there twice to fix a problem. Once it's fixed, it's fixed, and nothing else "suddenly" goes wrong, like I've experienced with some other shops. He doesn't automatically suggest that the problem is the most expensive thing to fix, also like I've experienced with other shops. If all you need is a $20 part, then that's what he fixes. He doesn't cheap out on his parts either. He might be a little bit pricier than other shops, but he's absolutely worth it. I've been going to Tim for a couple of years, and I'll never take my car anywhere else. Also wanted to add that his shop has moved, and he's now at 726 S Walnut St.”

“Very friendly staff(Update)After picking my navigator up from getting new tires, they told me I had other front-end issues which they explained I needed more front-end work done. I have never gone to a shop that actually was concerned for the safety of not only me but the safety of my family. They got me in a quick as they could and fixed everything that was wrong. Also for all of our safety they asked me to bring it back in 500 miles to retorque the lug nuts and even had me sign a paper for it. I won't go to any other tire place from now on”

I wanted to come and test drive but being from North Carolina I had to arrange my schedule in order to do so. Steve was very patient and understanding as I was going through the loan process and he encouraged me to get all the paperwork completed before I got there. Ba helped me with that as well. My husband and I arrived, took a test drive, and drove away with the purchased van in less than 30 minutes. Thank you Steve!”

“I had a slow leak after hitting road debris so I pulled in to Grismer in Troy Ohio. Was told that it might take up to 2 hours to get to my car. The repair writer was polite and as I explained that we were an hour in on an 18-hour trip, he was empathetic was able to get my car in and repaired in under an hour! So appreciated this kind gesture by him and the other staff involved. Seldom see this kind of caring and personal concern with businesses today. Highly recommend for any tire related work!”

The owner was super friendly over the phone, quoted getting my brakes replaced at a much lower price than others in the area and was able to get me in the same day for next day pick up. To my surprise I receive a phone call from the friendly mechanic, Eddie, 2 hours later that he and Bob got my car done and it's completely finished and ready for pick up! “Darrel has written up service on three of my vehicles and I have been quite happy with all of the repairs. While my wife drives a newer car but our other two vehicles we have are very high mileage Hondas. They are in good shape but at an age where major components will go from time to time. The highlight was when we had some major work done on my daughter's car. Not one month later we set off to Virginia Beach from Troy. We drove there without incident and full confidence in the repairs that were made. Credit Honda or AAA, but we drove a 2009 Honda with 300,000 miles to Virginia and back with no problem.Most recently, and the repair that prompted this review. I thought my struts were shot on the back of my newly acquired high mileage Honda. After they investigated, they found the struts to be fine but some other issues that needed addressed. I know more than one shop would have done the struts and sent it out the door. AAA didn't. They investigated all concerns, found the root cause, and did the repairs.I love my old Hondas and it's good to have a service center that helps me keep them on the road and in good shape. “UPDATE: Arbogast went above and beyond to fix all issues we had. The sales rep was fired and they wrote a check for me to have everything fixed locally fantastic service and I will buy from them again!Original review:I cannot recommend buying a vehicle from Arbogast. We bought our 2015 9 passenger Ford Transit conversion van in November of 2022. We were assured the vehicle would be given a thorough inspection and all issues would be fixed before we received it. The vehicle was delivered (approximately a month after purchase) and there were several major problems conveniently not mentioned and not addressed in the ad. Primarily, the vinyl interior was in a state of disrepair. It was flaking off and worn through to the underlying fabric was showing. This was not shown in the listing pics or description. The front two chairs and the second row captains seats all suffer from this. Secondly, the stereo has a loud buzzing that would not go away when using the sound system for the tv. Thirdly, the side door has a knocking sound on every bump I go over. Lastly, there was no air filter whatsoever installed in the vehicle. Does that sound like a thorough pre-sales inspection to you?I initially wrote this same review and was ensured that the problems would be resolved. We got the audio issue fixed for $140 and got a quote to have the upholstery fixed for $1800. Not only have we not been reimbursed for any of the expenses as promised, they scoffed and said their upholstery guy charges way less. Well, I WOULD HAVE HAPPILY LET YOUR GUY DO IT IF YOU FIXED IT BEFORE SHIPPING ME THE VEHICLE. You’re welcome to fly your guy down 8hrs away to fix it.At the end of the day, do not take their word for it. Do not buy a vehicle from them online without thoroughly checking it out yourself in person and taking it to a mechanic you trust. It has been a disappointing experience. I will revise this review if Arbogast makes these issues right like they said they would. I’m only asking them to be ethical, nothing more.”
