“Todd is an awesome guy! Stopped in today to buy a Honda HRN216. Couldn’t find it anywhere, they had several units. He told me everything there is to know about the mower. They come brand new and ready to go, you buy it and can go mow as soon as you get home! Would recommend to anybody looking for a Honda equipment or any other lawn related equipment.”

“I had the most wonderful experience yesterday afternoon at the Petitti Garden Center in Bainbridge. Kristin was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Even though this location didn't have a particular plant I was looking for, they had plenty of beautiful alternatives to consider. I told Kristin what kind of plants I like and she proceeded to take me around the plants and point out the ones that would be ideal for what I had in mind. It was an awesome way to learn about all the plants and new varieties I had never heard of before. She has a great personality and is very well educated on plants. She knows her stuff! It was an awesome experience. I will definitely return to this location again!”

“Even at the end of the season they still had a great selection of trees, shrubs, and perennials. They had a European tricolor beech tree which I am not used to seeing anywhere and was thrilled to come across it here. If you're used to shopping at Big Box stores you might find them a bit pricey - but you're paying for quality and selection. They also have an impressive selection of seasonal decor and pottery. Can't wait to check them out again around the holidays!”

“We’ve gotten literally tons of material from Savarino brothers. Last year pea gravel for our outdoor fenced in garden. I think the leaf humus this year is incredible if you’re looking to fill or amend garden beds. So far this year 8 yards leaf humus, 4 yards black mulch, soon some rough cut wood chips. And I’m going to mix more humus into our garden beds. Just go and look before you order, or make sure you get the right thing for your use. Screened soil is not leaf humus, so different stuff for different uses.”

I’ve shopped at Home Depot for years—usually just grabbing what I need and heading out. Lately, at my local Cleveland Heights store, finding help has been hit or miss. So when my contractor sent me a list of porch materials through Home Depot, I was a bit hesitant.
I decided to go through the Macedonia store instead, and I’m so glad I did. Denise assisted me, and what she handled was no small task. Her knowledge, professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail were such a relief—and a pleasant surprise. She took the time to listen, made sure everything was correct, and kept me updated on my order every step of the way. She even followed up a few days after delivery to make sure everything was in order. Wow! When I called back to thank her, she was unavailable, but a manager named Jerome took my call within a minute. He was friendly, helpful, and didn’t make me feel rushed at all.
Clearly, Home Depot is doing something right. I’ll definitely be doing more business with the Macedonia, Ohio store.

“They have some things that other stores don't but their local for me so it's nice not to run all over the place. They always have plenty of carts neatly lined up for lumber and whatnot. My only complaint would be the same as the rest of the home depots
Too much stuff in the aisleways to get through sometimes and things that people aren't supposed to move because their company equipment are always in the way and things like displays that take up most of our way .Make it difficult to maneuver sometimes. But that's a common complaint most likely. But the staff always seems to be helpful and friendly and if you have a question and they don't know they always try to get the answer.”

“Came to this store over and over, because we always forgot something. This location is really close by for us, which makes it really practical. Never had a bad experience with either the place or the people.Came back multiple time to return items, due to wrong sizing (judgment on our end) and never any issues with returns. Fast, no question asked and reimbursed. There is quite a variety of choices. I always found someone to help us if needed, especially in the wood cutting area.”

“The size of Kollman's from the road is deceiving, it just doesn't look that big when you drive by.
It's a lot bigger than you imagine and has a wide variety of perennials, garden plants, annuals and tropical plants.
It's no frills, the buildings have been around for many decades.
There is a restroom available, but you have to walk about a hundred yards to the red barn to get to it.
The plants are healthy.
We bought yet another Hosta we didn't have...”
