“Laid back local grocery store. Reasonable price and have the basic shopping needs. Bring your own grocery bags or they sell them. Bag it yourself. Staff is kind and efficient.”

The store is always clean, organized, and easy to shop in, which makes the experience so much better. “Visited in July 2025. Nicest Dollar General that I have been in. Large and clean store. It has more groceries than a normal Dollar General store.
The parking lot in front of the store was recently repaved, but the rest of the plaza needs repaved too.”

“Mako's is one of my Go To's for many hard to find grocery items. Their Deli is awesome and I love the addition of the Sushi bar! Their selections for most products is great and their meat quality is some of the best in the area.
Prices on some things could be a bit lower and some items have only one brand as an option, but that's pretty typical for a neighborhood market that isnt part of a big chain.
All in all Mako's is great and I love shopping here.”
