Either Google was wrong about the hours, or they were only open until 1800 on the day my flight came in, so I couldn't pickup my rental car until the next day. I didn't think to check if they were open because Google said they were closed. However someone told me they were open later. So clearly Google is wrong, so get that fixed.

Would not recommend renting from this location. My first car had a severe alignment issue and the second had a network error/malfunction the entire time I had the car (but was nice otherwise, which is why this got 2 stars instead of 1). The ladies at the front desk pretty much ignored me the first couple mins I stood at the desk in favor of talking to each other about their co-workers. I was the only one in the rental area. Will definitely think twice before renting here again.

Fraudulent company. History of overcharging (see 'False Claims Act', $10.1M settlement). Avoid AVIS BUDGET GROUP at all cost. The few dollars saved at booking will be negated when fraudulent fees are added after returning vehicle. More than 2 weeks after returning my rental to Budget at Dayton International, I received mail stating a $125 pet hair cleaning fee was being charged to my credit card. I had no pet of any sort in, on, around, or near the rental vehicle. Budget Customer Service advised me (after 'investigating') that the charges were valid. I would need to wait 24-48hrs for a supervisor callback. I refused to hang up, and after holding for nearly an hour, Customer Service said that on further 'investigation', they identified the mileage on my check-in was earlier than the mileage where the 'pet hair damage' fees were assessed. Waste of my life, never again Budget.

My experience was unpleasant at every stage. The person at the check in counter was unfriendly and dismissive. The vehicle smelled bad, interior windshield was so dirty and smudged that I had to pull over on the freeway and use my shirt to clean it, the vehicle needed maintenance which reminded every time it was started, the gas tank was not full when I picked up (noticed that the needle went much higher after I got gas), the windshield wiper fluid to clean the exterior was empty. For all these reasons I will choose another company to rent from in the future.

If I could give this Budget 0 stars I probably would. I rented with them the last week of September. To start, the agents at the check in counter at the airport were rude to customers, even when I went out of my way to be kind and pleasant to them. I overhead one customer asking for refund compensation because he had to jumpstart the car they rented him three times and he had to return it early, and even the manager gave him nothing but attitude. Although I could provide even more details on why my check in experience didn't go according to plan, what's more important is what happened after I got the car. Having only had the car for two days, the check engine and traction control lights came on, and I had to go through Budget roadside support to get the car towed. I was not going to get a replacement car either because they did not have one available. I waited seven hours for a tow truck to arrive, because after my initial one and a half hour call with support, upon calling the tow company another hour later, it was revealed that Budget had actually not processed my request properly. Additionally, after I had two additional calls with roadside assistance and customer service, I had to call customer service again the day after the car was towed to ensure that the Budget office at the Dayton airport checked in the car and closed my rental agreement -- because they had not despite the car being returned 18 hours prior. Not only would I caution people against Budget as a whole, but I will never rent a car out of Dayton again. Oh, and I had to have two follow up calls to ensure I received a refund they tried to not give me for the days I didn't have the car.

They gave me a "free upgrade" to a Cadillac SUV. The car was pretty gross when we got it. The price that I got from Priceline was supposed to be $500 and they ended up charging me over $700 and said there was $150 fuel fee. And they charge me twice for tax and just completely charged me a higher price than what I was quoted through Priceline and told me too bad. I will never be using them again. Absolute rip off. They are con artist.

Don't waste your time with this location or this company. They lie to you about their policies just to get you to reserve a reservation And when you get to the location, they tell you that their policies at that location is different. And you cannot reserve a reservation. They just kick you around person to person. I personally would recommend spending the 5 to 10 extra dollars for another company. Whoever you decide to go with would be better than this company.

This was my first time renting a car here and sadly my last time. We weren’t greeted or welcomed in a friendly manner at all. No smile and no professional tone. The lady at the desk had some trouble so another young lady with a ponytail came out to assist who was even worse. The ladies were so unprofessional talking amongst each other using profanity. It was shocking to see the girls be so comfortable in being so unprofessional. I don’t think they take their jobs serious at all or feel as if they can be accountable for their unprofessionalism. The only good I can say is that the sweet young girl who was outside that scanned me during my exit and was same who was there when returning car was so pleasant and a breath of fresh air. She went above and beyond smilingly and greeting me soon as I drove through. She actually appeared to like her job. Wished could say the same with the ladies at desk.- Budget

I just received a letter from them that there was glass damage when I returned my vehicle over a month ago. There was no damage upon return. The person who checked me in barely glanced at the car. Trying to work with customer service has been pointless. The first person asked me if I had pictures to prove there was no damage. I asked if she had photos to prove that there was, and she said "no." She transferred me to a supervisor who said he would send me pictures. He never did. He told me it's my job as a customer to show that there was no damage upon return.I should have read reviews!!! I see now that several customers have had issues with this location and unsubstantiated charges.

They wouldn’t give us the car we rented because I prepaid and my husband picked it up for us not me. They were also not kind or understanding or apologetic in any way. Mostly it was a bunch of sass and attitude. Absolute garbage customer service. They were also unable to do anything about refunding or even canceling the reservation. I was told I had to do it myself. We went to enterprise.

The line inside was approximately 20 people long while two agents were in the Fastbreak kiosk with the window closed. It was unclear whether the kiosk was usable, and the reps inside did not know. Once finally receiving my car, I found I had to document a scrape. The rep inside did not provide a damage form, so I had to return to the kiosk where the rep, who seemed like I was bothering her, rushed through some incomplete directions and told me to talk with the agent at the exit gate before exiting. Once proceeding to the exit gate, I pulled aside to talk to the agent who was sitting in a car next to the “Agent Assistance” exit pointing her finger at the exit. I finally raised my voice loud enough for her to hear I was following the direction from the kiosk rep. She finally got out of her car, clearly annoyed, and told me to go out exit. I told her what the kiosk agent told me. She then ripped the white copy off the damage form and told me to exit. The QRC code I received did not work at the exit, so the same rude rep had to let me out. I thanked her and she said something I didn’t understand as I was driving away. I will not be back.

Terrible experience- vehicle wasn’t cleaned and had 0% oil life. I was instructed to pay for an oil change and that I’d be reimbursed but the process I was told to follow has not resulted in a reimbursement. I attempted to discuss the issues with the manager, Joyce Ann, when I dropped the vehicle off but she refused to assist me because I had prepaid for the rental. Absolutely ridiculous that the issues were a direct result of the pickup location not completing even the basics required to get a vehicle ready for pickup but the location, including the management, then refuse to assist with resolutions and instead play games and give false information.

Absolute chaos--showed up for a 7:30 reservation, and was told to 'sign-in' on a sheet where I ended up #27 in line, no explanation.Sat for an hour--they got through 3 rental issuances.No info on how much longer, no announcements to the folks waiting.When I went to remove myself, there were almost 50 folks on that list.

Customer service is a joke, picked up a rental 2 days ago. It's hard to see anything on the car in a dark parking garage. Car was filthy dirty, windshield had bird droppings and bug guts on it, someone previously had been smoking in it, ashes on touch screen on dash, interior had not been cleaned, every window was dirty. Fresh stains all over the upholstery. Tried two different budget rentals to swap the car out only to be told they didn't have any and I'd have to drive an hour back to the airport to swap it out. I'm booking enterprise and returning theirs today. Disappointing! Will never use them again. Get some fluent English speaking people in your call centers!!!
