Normally I have great experiences with these guys but the last couple orders have gone horribly wrong. Earlier this year, I ordered both headlights for an R32 and they sent me two of the same headlights. Because my old headlights were unusable (veggie based wire coatings failed), this left me waiting for another 2 weeks while they waited to receive the wrong one, before they would ship the correct one. Since I drive to work at 430am, this was a major problem and caused me to lose out on a lot of work. Most recently on 10/30, I placed an order for a e46 Transmission fill plug, some trim clips, a couple of filters, and a phone mount. At the time of placing the order, all were shown to be “in stock”. Not backordered, not “ships from supplier”, or any of the other weird stock statuses, so I placed the order. I needed the fill plug more than anything, so I paid a little extra for shipping in order to get the part by the weekend. Once I saw it wasn’t going to ship in time, I removed the plug from the order and ordered it from eBay. 11/4 I received an email from Jacob H. Informing me that there has been a delay on some of the items and he offered to ship separately at no extra charge. I responded asking which parts were delayed and NEVER received a reply from him. At this point, I had already received the fill plug from eBay so I wasn’t really worried about anything else, but I didn’t think it was gonna take another 2-3 weeks to receive “in stock” items. 11/11 I received a separate email from Austin G. telling me it was the phone mount that was causing the delay, so I gave him the go ahead to ship the rest of the items. THEN I received another email stating that the NEW order was delayed because they “thought the clips were on the shelf” but, they were not. I finally received the filters and trim stuff Friday, but am still waiting on the phone mount. Seems like some QC is in order for y’all.

I've been buying from ECS for a few years now. I own a 2012 Jetta Sportwagen and I can get German made OEM parts from ECS that cost much less than if I bought them from VW. Good quality parts, a good website for shopping, fair shipping rates, and helpful people.

Great customer service. I had ordered a part for my MINI and it turned out that it was going to be a few weeks to deliver due to the manufacturers inventory. I was contacted asking what I would like to do. They were very accommodating by letting me switch my order and the new part was here only a couple days later. Thank you!!

I spent around $300 for fuel injectors for my car. 2 out of 4 of them were bad!!! My car is now undrivable as I am pregnant and have a kid so it's unsafe and a HUGE waste of money i didn't really have.
Beyond frustrated and their warranty is a scam and you have to return and if they decide they want to, they will add credit to your account you can use if you spend a certain amount at their store. You don't get an actual refund.
First and last time using them. My boyfriend used to get parts from them all the time and him and his car group friends are now no longer using them after this.

Every experience I’ve had so far with ECS has been great. Super fast shipping and a reputable/reliable source. The only thing I’ll say is I ordered spacers for my B9 S4 over the phone and the employee explained to me that they would fit my aftermarket wheels. So of course, the $290 was completely ok to spend as long as I knew I was getting the right thing. Unfortunately they did not fit my aftermarket wheels and then said I couldn’t return them because I mounted them to the vehicle. So I just shaved down them down and made them work. Just make sure when you are purchasing something you do enough research yourself.

I didn't know it was possible to be this bad. I've had multiple orders with ECS now and all they do is waste your time, give you a false guarantee, and then leave you on hold forever. Couldn't even ship out a product on time despite me paying a massive amount extra for it. I've had to call about 5 times for every one issue I have and have to sit forever on hold. The only redeeming quality is they're polite but I stopped caring how nice you were after my 3rd call to resolve a simple issue. They're the last place I'll ever look and even then it's reluctantly. Save you time and money and go somewhere else.

ECS Tuning's lifetime renewal program partially eased the "pain" of the cost of repair items for my 16+ year old Mini Cooper S. The quality and fit for the moldings I purchased was great but the cost rather steep. All in all, my purchase experience was good and I commend ECS Tuning for their shipping and follow up tenacity.

Phenomenal customer service. Sadly this is twice that I received the wrong part which led to more down time for my Passat but I still have to give it to the customer service team for their prompt response and efforts to correct it.
