“I recently discovered that you can use the app to fill the tank. Where's my head been? Don't answer that. Open the app, scan the QR code on the pump and you're pumping the cheapest gas in the area. Faster than inserting your membership card, removing, inserting the debit card, entering the PIN, waiting for approval, removing then selecting grade to start pumping. Trust me, you'll love it.”
“I frequent this store almost daily. My favorite spot is the Deli. They have a great sub station with equally great specials. My absolute favorite employee back there is Susan. She is matter of fact, direct, and a multitasker like I have never encountered before. I have watched her train a new employee, manage the packaging of their hot fried picnic chicken, AND service a custom sub/bacon cheeseburger order ALL at the same time. She is consistent, a professional in her duties, and just a delight to witness. I have huge respect for her. As I mentioned, she is matter of fact. You won’t get any warm and fuzzy small talk. But what you will get is a great sub/burger and top notch service EVERY TIME!! A final note regarding the overall staff: I was talking to a former employee from the bakery who now works at another Giant Eagle (closer to her home). She remembers fondly the close knit staff and fun atmosphere at Elm Road Giant Eagle. I told her it is still the same!!”
“Purchased smoked ribs that were tender, nicely cooked and smoked with an outstanding BBQ sauce. The grill cook did a wonderful job preparing and grilling the ribs. Look forward to another holiday with Giant Eagle preparing more ribs. They were better than restaurant quality.”

“Best deli around! The only place in the area I've found that slices the cold cuts thin just the way I like. I'm originally from Long Island NY and I want my cold cuts sliced extra thin (the only way ALL delis in NY do it). I've also seen the staff going around checking the temperature in all the refrigerators around the deli so kudos to making sure the meats are staying fresh and safe.”
“I ordered a sheet cake online (half chocolate, half white). The online ordering options are very limited so this is what I asked for: White frosting with red rose, green trim, and green lettering.”

“Giant Eagle Pharmacy Howland has always worked with my hectic life! Whenever I studied abroad, they helped me get all my scripts before leaving. Whenever my insurance gives me a hassle, a tech is always willing to work with me. As a college student, money is tight. The techs always find the cheapest option for my two scripts and keep my monthly cost affordable. I also love how considerate they are with time. Sometimes the only time I have to get my scripts are in between class and work (a 1 hour or less window). If I tell the tech this, they will make sure I leave with my meds and am on time for work. Definitely will remain my pharmacy of choice!”

“I was in Giant Eagle Elm Rd for their great Nov 8 sale. The staff was very helpful and kind and very pleasant. There was an incident in the store that made me very sad. The store was full of customers and I thought how wonderful. Then something unfortunate happened and the store almost cleared out. The store wasn't responsible for the occurrence and those who were should not have been there. I want to thank the owners and staff for their concern for their customers and how well the situation was handled. God bless all of you and keep up the good work.”

“The pharmacists are so kind. They went above and beyond to fix an issue with one of my prescriptions, and get me the medications I needed after surgery. And every time I've gone in for a flu shot, they've always been so kind and gentle.
The cashiers are always so sweet too. Any time I need help finding something, they're always so helpful.
I've never had a single issue at this CVS. I actually pass 3 other CVS's to go to this one, because it's the nicest one in the area. The store is always clean, and the employees are always so nice and helpful.”

“My favorite pharmacy and I buy a lot of groceries here too. They are cheapest on Simply Orange Juice vs. Walmart or Family Dollar. Ice cream is usually on sale and they have great store products called Nice that taste great and have decent ingredients. Tammer is a great pharmacist and even gives me my biologics shots for my lungs because even though it's delivered to my home I don't like needles and cant give myself the shot. And amazing unicorn selection for my collection.”
