Kid-friendliness: Kids get free cheese samples cards to" grocery shop" cheap and there are car carts for their entertainment to "drive" around the store while the parents shop
Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs and entrance and aisles are wide enough for wheelchair accessibility”
“I went for some Italian turkey sausages. They were out. Must be a popular item. 1st time I ever been there and didn't get what I came for. The cashier was super nice. We exchanged pleasantries and ended up hugging by the b e time she had finished ringing me up. It was a pleasant experience”

“I frequent this store almost daily. My favorite spot is the Deli. They have a great sub station with equally great specials. My absolute favorite employee back there is Susan. She is matter of fact, direct, and a multitasker like I have never encountered before. I have watched her train a new employee, manage the packaging of their hot fried picnic chicken, AND service a custom sub/bacon cheeseburger order ALL at the same time. She is consistent, a professional in her duties, and just a delight to witness. I have huge respect for her. As I mentioned, she is matter of fact. You won’t get any warm and fuzzy small talk. But what you will get is a great sub/burger and top notch service EVERY TIME!! A final note regarding the overall staff: I was talking to a former employee from the bakery who now works at another Giant Eagle (closer to her home). She remembers fondly the close knit staff and fun atmosphere at Elm Road Giant Eagle. I told her it is still the same!!”
“The cheapest best quality grocery store I found. Their selection not huge but what is there is on point and priced great. Great deals on doordash deliveries, watch for huge $ off up to 40 dollars on a order! You know they are killing it when giant food corporations start sueing them. Shame on Oreo! Keep up great work!”

“Purchased smoked ribs that were tender, nicely cooked and smoked with an outstanding BBQ sauce. The grill cook did a wonderful job preparing and grilling the ribs. Look forward to another holiday with Giant Eagle preparing more ribs. They were better than restaurant quality.”

“The service at this store is very very poor. I waited in line for 15 minutes because the guy working did not know what he was doing ( something wrong with register). He should have asked for help. The girl fixed it immediately. But she was rude and lacked knowledge. Never this bad before. Also store is a mess”

They have a good selection of most everything I saw. The prices are comparable to most other similar types of grocery stores. There was ample easy parking with handicap spaces and a ramp into the building. Overall, a nice shopping experience.”
“The gas at this place is amazing. Every time I take my van to it it behaves for the rest of the week. And I like to use it as a bargaining tool for my van if my van starts stuttering I say hey I won't take you to that citgo if you don't behave. And without fail right away the van starts acting like a good boy. The people there are very nice too.”
“I am always looking for a deal and to save some coins. And I will tell you that save a lot is the place when I went up to the checkout I couldn't believe I only had to pay 20 bucks for everything I got. I got milk hamburger meat a case of pop fago root beer. A 2 liter of some other pop hamburger buns a bag of french off and some other items and it was 20 bucks. They got pretty much everything you need I mean some stuff is off brand but who cares if I would have went to the big giant bird In the sky I would have paid a arm and leg. So if you want to save some coin give save a lot a try and watch you bank account not be empty.”

“Best deli around! The only place in the area I've found that slices the cold cuts thin just the way I like. I'm originally from Long Island NY and I want my cold cuts sliced extra thin (the only way ALL delis in NY do it). I've also seen the staff going around checking the temperature in all the refrigerators around the deli so kudos to making sure the meats are staying fresh and safe.”

“We MUST USE this store in Lordstown if we don't feel like driving 12+ miles to the nearest store for every day items. I have to give them credit , they usually have the necessary items. And the store is kept pretty clean for the most part!! GO LORDSTOWN!!!!”

“Giant Eagle Pharmacy Howland has always worked with my hectic life! Whenever I studied abroad, they helped me get all my scripts before leaving. Whenever my insurance gives me a hassle, a tech is always willing to work with me. As a college student, money is tight. The techs always find the cheapest option for my two scripts and keep my monthly cost affordable. I also love how considerate they are with time. Sometimes the only time I have to get my scripts are in between class and work (a 1 hour or less window). If I tell the tech this, they will make sure I leave with my meds and am on time for work. Definitely will remain my pharmacy of choice!”

“Excellent prices good selection the meats are very good the employees that work there are super nice. Some of the items that you select are a little different than the other grocery stores but it's a pleasant experience actually they have some Gourmet items and you can purchase inexpensive wines there. Over all I think it's a great store”
