Hilarious. 5/23 1pm. I had a hundred dollars worth of video games in my hand and needed to use the restroom before I picked out more. The salesmen was being rude to another customer. After he wasfinished, I asked him to unlock the restroom so I could continue shopping. He rudly pointed to the Employees only sign even though it was marked as a bathroom. I left, used Targets restroom and them bought my games on Amazon for half the price. The only thing brick and mortar stores have to offer is customer service. And they can't even get that right. As I walk out, the manager was standing outside on the phone talking about how he had to terminate an employee. So professional. Lol

As someone who has worked in customer service and retail for many years, my experience with Shekinah the other day was one of the worst I’ve ever had in my entire life. I walked in to trade in some old games to buy a new one and before explaining what she was doing she was telling me I was going to get free money by signing up for something and making my purchase even cheaper. I explained to her that I didn’t want to sign up for something and she assured me that I just had to sign up and cancel the next time I came in. I told her that I don’t come in that often, I just want the money for the pre owned games, and to buy the new one. She looked genuinely so puzzled and confused by what I just told her. She asked why and continued to tell me to just do it. My partner at the store didn’t even understand what she was trying to get us to sign up for. She then started to get upset and flustered that I wouldn’t sign up for whatever she was trying to get us to do. My partner asked for an explanation and she, very rudely, said “your partner doesn’t want free money.” Neither of us knew what to say. She then starts huffing and puffing and goes quiet. She looks at us and begs us to do what she’s trying to sign up for, and she says it’ll help her keep her job. For one last time, I explained to her I don’t want to sign up and put money down on something just to come back in and cancel it. She then goes mute and grabs the game I asked for originally and rings me out. She didn’t say a word the rest of the transaction and rings me out. I thanked her at the end and walked out. I genuinely couldn’t believe how pushy she was, it was like talking to a cars salesman, and wouldn’t let us say no. I also can’t believe the shift in attitude afterwards and how upset she got when we wouldn’t do what she wanted us to. Super unprofessional, and honestly a very upsetting experience. I would avoid that specific gamestop just to not have to deal with her again. I understand this may not be a full time career for everyone and maybe the pay isn’t worth it to act nice to customers, but I wanted to share how disappointed I was in that whole experience on Friday. She tried to make my partner and I seem dumb for not signing up and begged us to sign up so she could keep her job. I will not be returning to any gamestop if that’s how their employees act- like toddlers.

Everything is good and all but the used controllers cost way too much, they need a price match policy.
Edit: The store has very affordable used games, but can’t play games without the controller.
Edit: Bumping up the review from a 3 star to a 4 star due to customer service and friendly staff ?
Edit 2: I accidentally posted a review for another Gamestop (which I haven’t been to) so I’ll just copy-past it here, also bumping up my review to 5 stars.
New review: An amazing store, with a wide selection of video games AND merchandise, like Pokémon Cards, Demon Slayer minifigs, and video games like AC and other large titles.
The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, they helped me find the items I needed.
Do recommend visiting here.

The store is clean, well organized, and friendly staff. I gave it 3 stars due to the corporation that owns it. The corporation changed many different things and not for the better. Stop in check this store out.
