I rated my experience at NovaCare rehabilitation of Westchester with five stars I felt like the staff was very helpful and extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. I worked mostly with Karen, and was very pleased with her method of diagnosing my problem and helping me to get a hand on it. I would definitely recommend NovaCare rehabilitation to my friends and family and anyone else who has a need for their service. Should I need the service again I will definitely return to NovaCare rehabilitation .Sincerely :Brenda

The therapists are attentive to the needs of the patients. They encourage the patient without being pushy. If I'm hurting, they will have me back off of certain exercises.

LOVE this place and my therapist, Karen! No one wants to have to go to PT - but if you HAVE to go, why not go to a place that makes you feel like you ARE the star of the show? Everyone is GREAT! Highly recommend!!!

I recently was referred to Nova Care Physical Therapy on Tylersville Rd. I feel as though I am getting excellent care with Ally Hill the therapist I work with. Additionally, they give you an online program to exercise at home with instructions how to do them. I wouldn't hesitate Nova Care to anyone.

I received a referral from my OBGYN for some postpartum related issues. After discussing my issues at length with my doctor she decided I would benefit more from general PT than I would pelvic floor therapy. I called to schedule my consultation and was told by the receptionist that “they don’t do pelvic floor there.” I explained to her I wasn’t being referred for pelvic floor, which is why my doctor referred me there and not to pelvic floor therapy. I explained to her I have low back/ SI and other larger musculoskeletal instability that needed treated in order to stabilize my pubic symphysis joint and asked if that made sense, to which she responded “Not at all.” A pretty unprofessional response. I explained once again that my doctor didn’t not refer me to pelvic floor therapy for my issues and was met YET AGAIN, with “so you’re sure you don’t want to do pelvic floor therapy?” At this point I was so frustrated that I just hung up before I said something out of my character. I have two small children, I have pain and dysfunction that needs treated. I have a referral from a physician to NOVACARE for PT and yet I was met THREE times with questioning about the treatment I was just trying to schedule and receive so I can keep up with my kids and get back to fully functioning without pain. As a working mother it’s already such a difficult task to prioritize taking care of yourself. I found it extremely disappointing and not up to Novacare’s good reputation the way this interaction went. It was really deflating in my pursuit of self-care. I would suggest a little more training for the front desk staff- Diagnosing and discussing issues at length is the job of the physicians and DPTs. Not the front desk. Hopefully I will be able receive treatment at a different branch.

Lauren Brinkman, PT And the entire staff are very good at what they do. Lauren and Bob have help me get my full range of motion back in my right shoulder. I would highly recommend these professionals at Nova Care.
