I recently lost my house to a fire, so all my stuff was sitting in a storage unit. They helped me take everything from the unit to my new house. They also were able to do it without me being there, which allowed me to finish other work that I needed to do in the meantime. I would highly recommend going with MVM if you are moving!”

“Brian (owner) and his team did receivership, inspection, storage and delivery of our new furniture arriving from a number of out-of-state vendors. They were excellent in all areas, as well as in communication—from beginning to the end of our project. Deliveries came as arranged and items arrived in perfect condition. The delivery guys were prompt, called 20 minutes before arrival and were very courteous and professional. They carefully unwrapped and placed items where requested. They did a great job! Brian and his team were terrific to work with and went above and beyond with responsiveness and professionalism, especially when one item needed to be replaced (vendor’s error, not CEM’s). We are very pleased that our interior designer found CEM for us. We would work with CEM again in a heartbeat. Many thanks, Brian and team!”

“We have had Hollander move us twice cross country and both moves have been easy, worry-free, handled professionally with nothing broken or out of place. This last move from California to Chicago was exceptional. This is our second time working with Chris Kucharski - senior relocation specialist. He made the process hassle free. He was quick to answer phone calls and emails and patient when my husband and I had miscommunications and asked him the same questions. At move time we had the team in our home for two days (pack and load). Tony Gardner - Crew Chief and Driver - set the tone immediately by taking his time with us - walking through our home and listening intently to everything we had to say. He interacted with us as people not just customers. Todd Cosgrove, the lead for the permanent California crew, was instrumental in the positive, high energy, yet relaxed atmosphere that put us at ease and kept the team moving. The whole crew was amazing -- Eddie packing all day in the "fragile" room, Greg working in the heat of our stuffed garage and Corey noticing my Mom's silver tucked away and forgotten about. We were impressed with the professionalism, work ethic and teamwork. Most importantly though, we didn't feel like our home was "invaded". We felt comfortable and confident that everything was being done correctly and with care. The whole experience was enjoyable and stress free. We cannot recommend Hollander enough (and this crew in particular).”

“Don't go to Home Depot for your boxes anymore or for your bubble wrap, especially if you are moving. You can buy in bulk from victory packaging and save a lot of money. However, you need to buy a lot to save. There's a $250 minimum purchase and you have to order by phone or have an account and/or pay in advance. I'm not sure I saved anything on the bubble wrap over Home Depot prices, but the rolls are massive. I probably should have bought everything here at the beginning and then I would have saved money.”

“My original reservation for movers with a different company fell through as they last minute did not show. I called Huffy’s and a nicely spoken woman took my information to check if anyone was available to help me move. Francklin and Almando showed up literally 30minutes later and did an amazing job of loading & unloading. They were very efficient and respectful, with no damages! I would definitely recommend them!”
