“A very nice lady had those really good puff mints in the front. We bought about seven items, and it only came to 20 something dollars!!!1!11!! At Goodwill, that would've been 100. LMAO. But it's a cute little shop with adorable clothes.”
“This CASH only thrift store is a hidden gem tucked away in Troy. The attendant was very kind and answered my questions about some items. I found some unique decorations for my home and a small vintage stapler in great condition. My favorite was a glass pedestal bowl for my happy plant. Please visit and support your local non-profit! “I recently visited the Goodwill located at 6868 Miller Ln, Dayton, OH 45414, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. As someone who typically prefers thrift stores over Goodwill, I approached this visit with low expectations, but I found a diverse selection of items that caught my eye. The store boasted an impressive array of clothing, including skirts, shorts, outerwear, and a variety of accessories like purses, scarves, hats, and jewelry. Additionally, I was delighted to see a range of household items, from mugs to stuffed animals, blankets and seasonal decorations.
One aspect that stood out was the cleanliness and organization of the store. It felt well-maintained, making it easy to navigate through the aisles. The staff members were friendly and knowledgeable, which added to the positive atmosphere. However, I did find it slightly unprofessional to overhear staff discussing another team member openly; it created a bit of a distraction.
Checkout was a breeze, thanks to Miss Vivian, who was quick and efficient. I appreciated her mentioning it was senior day, although it was a bit awkward since I did not qualify for the discount. I was also surprised to learn about their return policy, which offers store credit within seven days of purchase, but no cash refunds.
Overall, while I didn't find a plethora of items that would compel me to return immediately, I would recommend this Goodwill location for its variety and cleanliness. It’s worth checking out if you’re in the area and looking for unique finds.”
“Love going to goodwill on Sundays cause it is 99 cent day for whatever color barb was on sale for 50% off throughout the week. They don't open until 11 on Sundays though. I always bring my clothes home and wash them before putting away or wearing.”
“Very good selection of clothing, organized by size, color, type. They had a large selection of women's clothing in sizes 1X - 3X (8 April 2025) Nicely kept store with helpful employees. Typical of most Goodwill stores in the area.
