Churches And Places Of Worship
“Beautiful temple with mesmerizing deities must visit and their Sunday feast program is very nice and they serve delicious prasadam food . They celebrate all vaishnav festivals very nicely and the environment of temple is very friendly and welcoming”
“I love this church. They walk the walk and are committed to justice and compassion. Worship is engaged and thoughtful with amazing music and sermons that get to the heart of both the gospel and how to live it. Plenty of groups to join including book club, journaling, justice, feeding, etc.”
“Warm and welcoming--and not in a creepy, Stepford-Wives-for- Jesus way. The people here are genuine!
There is a beautiful mix of cultures represented in the congregation.
The Youth Program is engaging and active.
The church has a heart for serving the community.
The pastors are down-to-earth and so encouraging.
When you visit, wear comfortable shoes. The worship service is about 30 minutes long and you'll want to be up on your feet, singing and dancing.”
“I've attended NCBC since I was a teen. The message is always on point, the music is fantastic and I feel spiritually fulfilled after leaving service. There are now two campuses, the newer is located on the SE side of town. I've visited on many occasions as both locations have a unique feel. If you're under 30, I'd attend SE but you can't go wrong either way.”
“Cityview is one of the best church communities I have ever been a part of. They get how to do real! They get how to do broken! They get that we are imperfect people who want to love Jesus and love others well and they have wonderful, relatable sermons that speak to that. They are LGBTQ+ friendly and open to those who have been hurt by religious communities. They give a damn and put their money into action. Give us a try and come visit sometime! “My husband and I were married at First Community Church in June and it was absolutely perfect. Jill was amazing to work with and made sure that every detail was taken care of and that everyone knew what they needed to do. The Church is beautiful, and I appreciated that they welcomed non members to have their ceremony there. The ceremony was exactly what we wanted and we feel lucky to have had our wedding here.”
“I just dropped off items for The Well ministry and had a very good experience with the staff. Having seen the Salvation Army group around for my whole life it was nice to see one off there church home buildings.”
“What a complete 180° transformation of the Newman Center since I attended 30 years ago as a grad student!!! They were way off the rails back then. Now as my daughter starts grad school at OSU, I'm ecstatic to see it back on track. I'm so grateful for the Bishop's wisdom and all who played a role in the changes.”
“they are welcoming. they love the Lord. have a great summer kids programs. great pantry. are assistant now with gas and electric shut off. church on Sunday at 11 am.”
“Great church for studying, Nice pastorsI can say this is better then Marcus Theater at least... (Sorry Marcus theater)5 Star for peace and quiet, and for gaurded.Great place to listen to God.knows I need then Marcus theater.??”
“I am not a member but I have been bringing my kids to events there for years. I have been to many churches where the people are not welcoming and the gospel is stretched to support their opinions. This is NOT one of them. From the first day I stepped into their building I was welcomed and treated like family. I love all the places to sit and the bookstore is great. When I was taking class, this was the one place I could go, take my kids to somewhere fun and safe while I got work done. Love GPC! If I didn't have a home church I would move there.
Also, anyone who says they shouldn't ask for money and they should be tolerant of all lifestyles needs to read the Bible. Jesus wasn't tolerant and he told us to give.”
