“Went to see my grandson's school band (Perry High School in Lake County) play in the 20th annual Northeast Ohio band invitational. Not only did Perry rock, but Severance Hall is absolutely spectacular. The architecture is stunning, parking was easy to access and the employees there were very polite, knowledgeable and accommodating. We sat upstairs and could see and hear everything perfectly.”
“I performed at our WomenSafe Casino Night Fundraiser and was also there beforehand to help set up. Staff couldn't have been more pleasant and from what I'm told by our guests dinner and dessert were the best they've ever had at one of our events. I can't wait to do it all again next year!”

“We came here for a work dinner while shooting a film nearby and it was magnificent. All of us are pretty well-versed foodies and within 10 minutes we were oohing and aahing over the cacio e pepe that they make using farfale. Then the owner showed up with a literal mixing bowl of a fresh garlic and tomato pasta just to treat his patrons, we didn’t expect it and the guilty smile with which he spooned it onto each of our plates “just to try” was half the atmosphere of the restaurant bundled up in an act of hospitality. No kidding, it was 2x better than pasta I’ve had in much finer establishments, or even in the big tourist haunts in New York’s little Italy. Service with Marissa was incredible, and everyone was beyond friendly. What a delight!”

“I had the opportunity to rent the Henn Mansion for a family brunch of approximately 40 people. Being a hour away & having a busy schedule that week, I was unable to see the space in person. Cherie, the Event Coordinator/Manager of the mansion, made the rental process seamless! I was sent photos of the space & was able to complete the contract & send it back by email! On the day of the brunch, I was amazed! The pictures had not done justice to this gorgeous place! So much character & warmth. Cherie's customer service was exceptional! Cherie made herself available for any questions or concerns that I may have had.The Henn Mansion also has a beautiful lake views! Perfect for an intimate wedding! Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful home with us ❤️”

I remember searching for a reception hall and from the outside in it didn't look like much. “We’ve decorated and catered several times at the venue upstairs and downstairs especially prior to the name change and the staff has always been very accommodating and friendly first with Karen and when she retired with Sandy, she is a gem as well!! The kitchen is just the right size to take care of everything you need. With the banquet rooms ample size to accommodate a large crowd. I’m sure there will be great changes coming with the new name. “Signature Events hosted my daughter's sweet 16. They did a wonderful job making her day special. We started with a sip n paint. All I had to provide were the canvases. They handled the easels, paint, and artist. And the recommended DJ, John Turner of Firesquad Entertainment, was the best. Our room was beautifully decorated. I really didn't need to provide anything, but I did buy a couple of balloon bouquets. Lisa and Lena handled practically everything so I could focus on my family and guests.”

“OMG!! If you are having an event, look no further…BOOK URBAN PAINT & SIP!! This venue is soooo nice!! The inside is beautiful and literally has everything you need for a nice successful event!! Bar and all!! Booking is so easy and smooth. Having a nice event can be stressful but this is one thing that would be easy and it’s all because of John!! When I tell you he is the most amazing person ever!! I felt like I’d known him forever!! He’s so nice, polite, helpful, kind, funny, friendly…I could go on and on!! I felt like he was in my family. I definitely made a new good friend!! Everyone at my event loved him,(he worked the bar) and guests were immediately inquiring information on booking. They have everything you need!! Sound system was amazing!! This is already a long review and I could go on but I’m just going to sum it up by saying Thank you John and God bless you!! “A great hotel connected by skyways to the Cleveland Clinic.Rooms: Rooms and bathrooms are nicely appointed, with good beds and nice sheets.Safety: It's connected to the hospital and medical office buildings by enclosed skyways, so walking alone to visit patients anytime day or night is safe.Walkability: The system of skyways provides a good way to get exercise and is even marked for distance.Food & drinks: Restaurant 45, the hotel restaurant and bar, is excellent and a dining destination in itself. Also, the room service menu is extensive.”
“I've been here about 5 times now and generally support because it's black owned. They have a small kitchen so the food takes a while to come out and I think they pre cook some things. They are not the friendliest of folks, but hey. We support our own.”
“We had a super dinner after a long day of traveling. Reasonable prices. Crab cakes were delicious and perfectly accompanied by a tasty slaw. Burger and fries were also well above average. Very attentive to detail. Double checked with us on a dietary restriction. Very friendly chef chatted with us and made us feel very welcome as did rest of staff. Very good cab sauv and a sauv blanc. Ambience in the resto is very much like an inn. Wouldn't expect that in a bwh. Definitely recommend a visit, even if not a hotel guest.”
“We had our wedding here in July 2021 and I cannot say enough good things about Mooreland. We used the gardens for our engagement pictures and our wedding photos, and they are absolutely stunning. From its beautiful antiquated atmosphere to Normandy catering’s quality of food, everything was so lovely. The only reason I am writing a review two years later is because we are expecting our first child in July. I was hoping to take a few maternity photos in the gardens as well. It seems Kathy is no longer in charge of things, and the new manager is not as kind, and would not allow us to use the gardens for that purpose. I was hoping to be sentimental and have our love story unfold in the same place over the years, but this new manager, Tawny, won’t allow that to happen. I’m certain Kathy would have been able to accommodate after I explained the importance of the gardens. Just be aware that if you decide to have your wedding here, you likely won’t be allowed to return and reminisce over the good times. Very unfortunate.”

Whitney, one of the owners was extremely efficient, professional, and took away all the stressful situations that goes along with planning a party. “Stayed here for work, rooms were not ready at a reasonable time at check in, kitchen floor was filthy to say the least. It was obviously not cleaned after the last guests, or a longer period of time. Had maid service and requested extra towels, towels were left, not in the quantity requested but with a note that basically said try again tomorrow. Not to mention, dirty towels that were on the floor were not retrieved, nor was the trash emptied. Just horrible service overall. Would not recommend this hotel for any stay especially long-term; mattresses need replacing. Never been so glad to leave a hotel.”
