“Current Resident: By far some of the friendliest and most sincere staff, from the front office to the maintenance crew. Today’s work order prompted this review because they not only showed up within an hour, but also fixed the issue and changed a lightbulb for me within that same hour.The complex always looks clean and welcoming, they take care of the snow and ice speedily whenever needed, a great first place to live in Columbus for me and my partner and our cats!”
“Maintenance Repairs: I Putin an order to repair my cupboard, the shelf had fallen. My garbage disposal wasn’t working and my sliding door to the patio was hard to open. John, came right in and fixed all of the issues in less than an half hour. I was impressed! Wonderful job! Thanks so much!”
“Living here at Slate Hill these past 5 months has been fantastic!!!! I love it here!!!! Abbey, Zay, Nick and the maintenance staff have been wonderful!!! Any requests asked to fix anything or be replaced has been done promptly and professionally!!!! My apartment with all its amenities and garage are fabulous!!!!
The newsletters and the pool being repaired and sharing other pool location until fixed, awesome: beautiful clubhouse with free access, fantastic Starbucks coffee machine and amenities, pool party with fabulous prizes!!!!, food trucks, free: herb garden package, school supplies, fun licence plate game and prizes, friendly library house, special clippers tickets were all wonderful!!!
Slate Hill is 2 minutes from my work place and so convenient to all the shopping, restaurants, gas stations and High Banks park nearby!!!! I will be staying a long time at Slate Hill!!!!

“I couldn't believe the size of our room. It was bigger than my first apartment. Great location to downtown. I was a little confusing getting back to our room after a night out..lol We had to take 2 different elevators to get to our floor. Cool place though

“The tour was incredible and I am excited to get my kids into a single and a 2 bedroom apartment for June 2025 hopefully. I loved seeing the Arlington and Bexley model apartments. It was so nice to actually see the layout of the apartments that my adult kids are interested in renting. The closets are huge and the apartments are super clean, bright, and cozy. The lobby and the clubhouse were decorated for Christmas which were absolutely beautiful. Our guide was very pleasant and informative. As a parent- I am thrilled to hear that the parking garage is secure, there is security staff until 4 in the morning, and that maintenance is onsite. The Gym and pool are in the same building which is so convenient. Overall, the tour was an incredible experience. I am glad we were referred by a friend who lives there.”

“I lived an North Park Place for a few years and had a fantastic experience. Noise from neighboring units was minimal. Pools were kept clean. My unit did not require any major maintenance. Office staff including Izzy and Tim were always happy to help when needed and responded to my emails in a timely manner. The location is a major plus, close to shopping, restaurants, and parks. I have always felt safe living at north park as well - very little crime in the area.
One minor inconvenience was that the grills were not always working when I would go to use them.
Overall I had a great experience at north park. I would recommend it to others and I may even move back in a few years.

“Cornell always does an excellent job maintaining the property. He is so friendly and helpful and makes living here a great experience. Maintenance is very efficient and completes work orders in under a day. The pool has been under construction for some time so that is my only negative comment since it’s a commodity I would like to use.”
“The location, amenities, layouts, and responsiveness of maintenance / office here are great! The cost is high and continues to grow, but this is to be expected at a complex like this. Newer complexes in area with the same level of amenities with much smaller sq footage, etc seem to be higher priced. Have been here about 4 years now!”
“Located five mins walk from Walmarts as well as the Bus Transit , less than 500 m from Morse Road and Sunbury Road , with lush greenery all around - this community is one of the best places to live in the entire Easton - Polaris- Dublin area. “I’ve lived here for 18 months. I really have no complaints. All public hallways and common areas are always kept very clean. Every maintenance request i have submitted has been responded to with Someone in my apartment within a day or so, even when it’s something small like the microwave light being out. The issues with garage safety and prices have all been well responded to by maintenance, they both lowered the parking prices and installed a new gate and security to address the break ins. I’ve truly loved living here and have recommended several of my friends to also live here”
“Ive been living in one of the properties for well over a year and I couldn't have had a better experience so far. The building I am in is old and with that there are a few things you have to deal with but nothing thats a deal breaker. Very kind and responsive staff whenever there has been a maintenance issue.”

“We have been at Hawthorne Commons for a year now and feel very fortunate for the opportunity that came about which allowed us to move into the community. We built our house and lived there for twenty years, but upkeep is always a player with ownership, and we felt it was time to sell and find somewhere that provided upkeep for its residents. We didn’t come from an area that offered 55+ communities, so this was all new to us. When we initially met Paige and looked at a model unit, we immediately knew this was the scenario we were seeking. Dublin offers about anything you’re looking for and we are extremely happy with the health care that is offered in the area. We are also happy in finding a church which has welcomed us and we already have made many friends there. We are so much more involved socially then ever before and the staff and the friendly residents at Hawthorne Commons have made that possible.”

24hr gym is nice, mostly quiet community, and the maintenance people are quick and efficient.
However, who ever manages this community non stop sends out text messages to all community members regarding the actions of maybe one or two people who live here acting against community guidelines. In addition will send letters and notices to leave on everyone’s doors about “someone speeding in the community” and “dog pee dripping onto community tenants living on the first floor”. Instead of figuring out who exactly is the cause of the issue and speaking with that person directly, they involve the entire community in DrAmAaaaaa! It’s annoying and comes off as extremely unprofessional.”
“I've lived here for three and a half years and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a great location where you can walk down town to all the little shops and restaurants. The summers are full of music almost every night. My apartment had a beautiful view of a wooded area with deer and rabbits nearly every day. Anytime I needed help with maintenance they were there the same or next day. Everyone is friendly and I felt very safe while living here.”

There are irresponsible dog owners living here but that's everywhere these days. As a fellow property management professional, I'm familiar with the developer of Liberty Place through a property in Philadelphia he developed and I had the pleasure of overseeing operations for with a different company who purchased the property. His properties are a beast to operate and maintain.
I decided to move here after being referred by a good friend and knowing the property is older but solid. For example: I barely have to use my heat, it doesn't even kick on most of the time and my apartment is 75 degrees inside. I have to crack windows to lower the temp in here! :)
So far so good, just hope folks start picking up after their dogs when the weather warms up!

“It's pretty good area, it's behind a large park. However, there's a large Indian community living this apartment area. If you are a person who prefer to live in a more diverse community, you will need to look elsewhere.”
