Pratt Veterinary Services
2668 S Park Dr, Broken BowI truly can’t say enough good things about Pratt Veterinary Services and Dr. Pratt.
Recently, I was traveling to Texas when my dog was poisoned, and it was one of the scariest moments I’ve ever experienced as a pet owner. Dr. Pratt acted quickly and confidently, and he treated my dog with intralipid therapy. He explained everything in a way that helped calm my panic, but most importantly, he knew exactly what to do. I honestly believe his fast thinking and knowledge saved my dog’s life.
Throughout the entire process, he was compassionate, attentive, and completely dedicated to my dog’s recovery. He checked in, monitored closely, and never made us feel like “just another case.” You can tell this is not just a job for him, it’s his calling.
If you are looking for a veterinarian who is knowledgeable, calm in emergencies, and truly cares, I highly recommend Pratt Veterinary Services. We are beyond grateful.

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Beavers Bend Brewery
46 Coho Rd, Broken BowOur favorite place to hang out during our stay. We go almost every day we are visiting. The staff seems to rotate a little more often than they did, but they're all really nice, patient, and helpful.

Abendigo's Grill & Patio
10050 N US Hwy 259, Broken BowWe were so happy to find Abendigo’s - too bad it was on our last night in town, otherwise we would have eaten there several more times. The atmosphere was welcoming, and our server Kyia was simply amazing. She was kind, polite, welcoming, answered our questions, and she did it all with a genuine smile. She was everything you could hope for in your server. And then the food - kudos to the chef(s)! Their southwestern Chicken Eggrolls were delicious; they were homemade and had so much flavor. And their smoked bbq ribs were the best I have ever had, with full flavor and meat that fell right off the bone. Abendigo’s will be our first stop next time we stay in Hochatown.

Grateful Head Pizza Oven & Tap Room
10251 N US Hwy 259, Broken BowTry the Maui Waui pizza. It is delicious. The crust is so chewy and soft. We had a salad and it was enough for 5 people. We ended up ordering 4 large pizzas so we could have left overs for the evening but we ate it all and had to order more the next day.

Buffalo Grill, LLC - Hochatown
6272 N US Hwy 259, Broken BowI ordered the queso as an appetizer, and it was excellent. For my entrée, I chose the Grilled Californian Chicken Sandwich. Unfortunately, the guacamole appeared to be prepackaged rather than freshly made, and the sandwich itself was extremely greasy. For a grilled chicken sandwich, I was surprised that the bun was soaked with grease.
On a positive note, my server was very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. While my main dish was disappointing, I would still recommend giving the restaurant a try, just consider ordering a different menu item.

The Blue Rooster Restaurant
10235 N US Hwy 259, Broken BowMe and the family stoped by here on our vacation. At first when we pulled up, we figured it was going to be packed. The parking lot was slammed full. Now keep in mind there are a few other businesses there also. When we walked in, we were greeted right away. The place had a great nostalgic feel to it. They were very nice polite people and the food was pretty good also. I guess my only complaint is the Burger wasn't quite big enough. I'm a bigger fella, and I like food. But we will be stopping back by before we leave.

Hochatown Saloon
28 Old Hochatown Rd, Broken BowThe food was just ok I’m sorry, maybe it’s my tastebuds or just what I ordered. The cocktails were slappin though! We had about a 20 minute wait, no biggie. Foodwise they were out of a lot and the wait for our order was crazy. It wasn’t even packed on a holiday weekend at 6:30 but we did have a large party of about 12 of us and I’m assuming they wanted to bring it all out together which is understandable. The whole building (restaurant and venue) is awesome! All the employees, especially Keshia and The Godfather mixologist dude were exceptional! We’d definitely go again!
