114 South Kaufman Street, Mount VernonI love the thin crust supreme pizza @ Milano's! Loaded with toppings and cooked to perfection. Ernie, Ginger, & Chandler go above and beyond to ensure their customers are pleased with their food and service. I highly recommend this pizzarera!! Unfortunately doorDash/slice is NOT a reliable delivery service, which is of no fault of Milano's! We had out of town guests, and a 6:15 delivery time was determined with a followup text from Slice. The driver did not show up to pick up my order! At 6:30 I called Milano's and learned my order was still waiting for pickup!! Thank goodness Milano's kept the pizza hot so my guests were still able to enjoy tasty hot pizza!! I will never use doorDash/Slice again. Very unreliable!! Again, I do not fault Milano's and they were sympathetic to my situation! Kudos to Ernie, Ginger, and Chandler for their excellent food and customer service!!!

4445 North Farm Rd 2723, Mount VernonWe’re French ?? and we absolutely loved The Cove! Everything was great — the food, the atmosphere and the service. Adam and Cameron was simply fantastic and made our experience even better! ❤️ The only little exception: the French toast… sorry, but as French people, we have standards! ??? Otherwise, everything was perfect. We’ll definitely come back!

Taco Casa
220 I-30, Mount VernonI found the Taco Casa to be a really standout part of this travel center. The line wasn't long like it was at the pricey down home BBQ option. The good was very reasonably priced (around $6 for big entrees), the food was ready as soon as I paid for it (no joke), all the staff was friendly, and they even offered to help if anything was wrong (which it wasn't). The seating was spacious and comfortable. It felt like a slightly more authentic Taco Bell with staff that care.
