Tucked in the N.W. side of Canton Lake in Oklahoma, Big Bend is a large campground with an A and B division, with old growth trees, landscaping, boat ramp, tent and R.V. sites with electric and non-electric sites. Spigot at most sites (some tent sites exempt). Playground and public restrooms with possible showers ( I didn't check). Fishing dock. Very clean and spacious sites. We used site A45 which was level. Sites have covered picnic tables, a grill and prep-table. Fire pits. I believe all sites are back-in and paved. Very nice. I will be back.

Was a little disappointed in the grounds! We stayed in the same spot the last 2 weekends, A17. Grass hasn't been mowed in several weeks. The fire pits had trash from previous campers in the fire rings! The sight itself was beautiful overlooking the lake but the grounds need works! Shower had hot water! Will stay again but not sure how to review on recreation.gov.

Hot showers! There is no wifi but you can set up a hotspot on you phone to get access. If you don't know how to do that I'm sure there is a YouTube video to show you how too. I was on B side the higher rows of camp spots get better cell reception. Lower ones are right by the lake. A side is for campers.... B side there are places for tent camping. I recommend driving through to see which site best suits you.

A wonderful campground that is free in the winter with no amenities available at that time. I spent about a week here at the beginning of February and didn't see anyone else the entire time. Very safe and love the covered picnic tables

Love the A side very quiet and bathrooms are cleaned every day and showers are roomy and I love ❤️ going there !

Beautiful views of the lake quiet and well set up. Would be a five star but had problems finding the dump station at first. (They do have one)
Playground: Playground is a bit dated but the kids still had a blast.

It was a little too cold to do anything that day on the playground but the kids had an interesting experience for the weekend and look forward to coming back when it is warmer. Do wish they had 50amp hookups and had no trails that we saw. Reg gas every where seemed to contain 10% ethanol.
