For having paying guests, both campers and fishermen, there was only 1 vault open at this time of year, and no toilet paper provided.
Also there were 0 garbage cans.”

“What a great family trip we had visiting Six Shooter resort. I haven’t been there since I was a kid and traveled from Florida to make a return visit. We rented cabin 18, which I can highly recommend. Really nice deck area with gas grill and everything you would want while on the lake. Wayne who is in charge of the Marina was there for us at every turn on anything we needed. Had lunch and dinner at the restaurant on site more than once and everything was very good. We plan to visit annually for a family fun trip. We will be back.”

“Stayed a Cabin 1 also rented a boat slip for 3 nights. The cabin was nice for my wife and I and 3 kids. The slip was handy since it was about 300 yards from the cabin with a coded gate to get in. The marina has a restaurant and there is a restaurant a few blocks over that had live music every night. The lake is nice reminds me of Tablerock lake, not super wide and the water was clear. I gave the room 4 stars because it's a little expensive for what you get. 3 stars for service because when I checked in the kids working there had zero info about where the cabins where and the rules about the boat slip. However I changed it to 4 stars since the Lady that was there was very nice and helpful. I suspect she runs the place. Overall a nice place to stay if you have a boat. Tip: use the boat ramp at Cookson bend day use area it's alot better then the one at the marina!”
