“I needed to purchase a washing machine and dryer for my wife's house. I live in Tennessee. The plan was to make the purchase, set a delivery date, then drive home to Tennessee. I entered Root's Hometown Furniture and Appliances right after they opened up. I was greeted by Colleen who right away asked me if I needed assistance. I told her what I wanted to purchase. She immediately took me over to the washer and dryer area where I pointed out the 2 items I wanted to purchase. We proceded to her desk where she attempted to process the purchase however the computer system was glitching. She calmly explained that it would be possible to purchase with a hand written invoice but I think we both wanted the electronic invoice. The computer glitch cleared a short time later. While this process was going on, RJ said they were no deliveries scheduled that morning and he could deliver the washer and dryer as soon as they loaded them on their delivery truck If that would work for me. It worked great. I finished the purchase with Colleen and I headed back to my wife's house. RJ and Issac arrived at the house a short time later. They were careful and professional in moving and installing the washer and dryer. They even swapped the door on the dryer from left to right side open for us. I have to say that Colleen, RJ and Issac were absolutely professional and went above and beyond. They are a credit to Root's Hometown. Living in the Memphis area, I am not used to the level of professionalism and possitive attitude they all showed. I spoke to Mr. Root by phone after the install was completed with my compliments. He explained this a true family business with members of his immediate and extended family working there. I highly recommend Roots Hometown where you will find friendly, professional folks selling appliances at great prices. Definitely impressed. It was absolutely worth the hour drive.”
