“I was 4 hrs into a road trip, and I still had about an hour to go. I was completely exhausted and worried that I might fall asleep at the wheel. I pulled into the Loves to try to wake myself up. Thank goodness y'all have amazing employees who will go above and beyond for their customers! They immediately directed me to the items I was looking for, and they were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about different caffeine drinks and energy shots. They recognized that I was trying to stay awake, so they talked to me and made me laugh, all the while ensuring that no customer who walked up to the register had to wait.They took turns talking to me, making sure that I was fully awake before I got back on the road. I'm convinced they saved my life that night, as it was a very real possibility that I could've fallen asleep at the wheel.So, shout out to Jessie, Alexis, and Isaac for being truly good humans and for looking out for a weary traveler. They could've just checked out my purchases and let me stumble out the door, exhausted. But they didn't. They took the time to recognize a need and to care for and help a complete stranger. What a rare gift in today's world. Thank you, Jessie, Alexis, and Isaac, for being so kind and patient with this tired old woman and for helping her reach her destination without incident. You were unexpected blessings, and I am grateful for you all.”
“The bathrooms are not very roomy but they were clean for 2 in the afternoon. Gas and Plenty of snacks aswell as drinks. Coffee and teas, redbulls and Rockstar's ect.. employees were nice and polite, welcoming everyone who entered the store. No knick knacks but they do have sunglasses ?.”

“Stopped here for gas, restroom break and then a breakfast burrito. All were fine but the cashier made my day. I wish I'd written down her name. It was mid-morning on December 26th and she was training a new guy. I was impressed with how patient she was with him while keeping up a lively conversation with me. The convenient location on the turnpike is reason enough to stop here, but the facilities, food and staff put this on my list of "will definitely plan to stop here next time" locations.”

“Old Magnolia Garage is a cool name for this convenience store and gas station strategically located on Old 66. It is set up to serve the locals and capture Route 66 tourist business. Stocked with everything you would expect: sweet, savory salty snacks, soda, beer, fryer food, and a few Route 66 trinkets. Get there early in the day for their best and most famous offering, Arbuckle Fried Pies. Yes, those world famous crusty folded and fried pockets of fruit filled heaven. On an unwavering mission, we rounded the corner east bound on Route 66 late in the afternoon. Our destination in sight, the Old Magnolia Garage.In I go, straight to the big fried pie display case. I really wasn’t expecting to find anything left at this time of the day, but there they were, two blackberry pies. Somehow, they survived the morning feeding frenzy. They were immediately adopted, along with a strawberry. Tomorrow’s breakfast delight.Nope, not as good as if I had been there when they came from the fryer, but good just the same with a fresh cup of coffee the next morning.Get there early!”
