“Honestly this is the closest gas station left NW of town besides the one in Silo. It has always looked a tad sketchy no matter which company has owned it, but the staff have always been nice and the place is pretty clean for such an old building. No one has ever offered me drugs in this parking lot, unlike some other places. Can't complain.”

“A year ago, I gave this place a well deserved one-star review because nobody appreciates being treated rudely by the two hateful women that were working here during my visits. They seem to be gone now. The manager and I didn't see eye-to-eye back then either but that seems to have changed too. I find the place welcoming. I might not buy gas here again because I pumped 22 gallons into my truck's 20 gallon tank due to their price sometime matching Walmart's and being very close when it doesn't match. I usually don't run my tank dry but I did with both of my vehicles and found that my Fiat's 10-gallon tank holds 11 of this place's gallons. It would have been nice if they had posted something about the difference between their gallons and the ones pumped elsewhere. Now I buy $1's worth if I run the truck out or $0.50 if I do the same with my car. Usually I limit my purchases here to their excellent chicken, whose prices have begun being fair since some time after I stopped going there to be mistreated and the time that I returned to find that the staffing has improved dramatically. As long as they run the place like they are now, they will remain my favorite place for lunch.”

It's hard for a vegetarian or a vegan to eat anything while they're out on the road with so many gas stations and Pit Stop stores having a limited variety of things that are vegan safe. Even today they were out of wraps and bowls but this team pulled through and wake me up a beautiful salad! Thanks for the fast thinking ladies!”

“Day before yesterday, my Mom and I were traveling to Calera to see a relative. On the trip out, we both realized that nature was calling, LOL, so we pulled into the Love's on the west side of Durant, on Hwy. 70 (technically West Main, Durant OK). I always feel bad about only coming into an establishment solely to use their restroom, so I also decided to grab some of their chocolate-covered donuts--I'd gotten some Love's donuts previously and liked them as much as the name brand. Anyway, it was remarkable how clean their restroom was. They were even careful to mop up the ever-present water spills in front of the sinks that you usually see in public restrooms. The entire store was clean! Everything neat and in its place, no product stacked in the aisles (which I detest as I'm on crutches and my Mom uses a cane), those are awful trip-hazards. The staff was so polite and cheerful. I made sure to tell the counter staff as well--nothing like hearing positive encouragement from customers. I would 100% recommend stopping at any Loves, actually--I don't think I can remember ever seeing a dirty one.”

They carry souvenirs, shirts, numerous variety of snacks and beverages.
Store was clean and organized even though we were there late in the evening!”
“I really appreciate this wide open gas station with lots of lights around the pumps. There's usually no one there when I show up, but if there is I can spot them immediately. Just wanted to say that. It feels safer here when you're pumping gas before dawn. It's also not swarmed with people or in inconvenient places like the Loves are.
Note I rarely go in the store itself so I can't speak on how it is inside.”

“I have been patronizing Walgreens pharmacy in Durant OK for years now and Mandy Skinner has been working there the entire time. Therefore, I would like to express my sincere appreciation and say “Thank You” to Mandy and at the same time would like for management within the Walgreens organization to know what an absolute wonderful customer service pharmacy tech they have with Mandy Skinner. Every time I see Mandy in the Walgreens pharmacy, she will always be busy and have a pleasant smile on her face regardless if working a window, on the phone answering questions, or behind the scenes ensuring nothing needs fine tuning in the process. She always ensures all the I’s are dotted and T’s are crossed, including, ensuring all the insurance entities have been processed for the script or scripts she is providing. On more than one occasion, Mandy’s corporate knowledge and diligent customer service work ethics saved me money by “double checking” customer out of pocket charges for each script I was picking up. My perception of her goal is to provide me with the best possible customer service, with a smile, PERIOD! This is evidenced by her exceptional dedication, attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, and compassion for me her customer. Mandy is a true asset to herself, the pharmacy staff and Walgreens”

“Very friendly staff, very clean establishment with a decent selection of drinks, candy, chips, and ice cream. I go here every day for their chicken strips. They still have the oldschool big thick ones. Very good stuff! Will continue to be my favorite convenience store!! The owner is a very good guy who cares about his customers more than is required!
