Foss State Park is so tranquil and very well maintained. The bathrooms and showers are clean and stocked. Park Ranger Dexter has really done a great job with making sure rules are followed so that everyone can have a great time. At the nature center, Avonly spent a lot of time showing me all the cool artifacts and literature from the area. I must say, these guys take a lot of pride in their work and it shows. I'm so happy we came here! Love the heart healthy walking trail where we saw 2 doe last night. Also, the scenery is just beautiful with lots of birds and native grasses. We will be back for sure!Playground: Great place for kids to expend some energy!Restrooms: Clean and stocked well.Dog-friendliness: Dogs are not allowed to be off leash and rangers are very friendly towards them.

Enjoyed the trick or treating at the campgrounds. Park rangers were patrolling the park keeping visitors safe. Bathrooms were disgusting.

Beautiful camp sites with Great Lake views, clean and clear water, sandy beach is just that, sand not dirt. It was all sand far out as I could wade into the water. Crystal clear until about knee deep. Marina restaurant open mid March through Labor Day so we missed them by a week but look forward to catching them next season. I have AT\\u0026T and had service in all areas I visited. Will definitely return.

We tented one night in Cedar Point Campground. The stars were amazing in the dark sky. The restrooms were clean and the showers are free. Playground for kids. Only 4 stars because the RVs have water at every site, but no faucets in the the tenting area.

A very nice place, I really loved the view and the tranquility, it is a very healthy and familiar environment. It is confusing to enter since it is very big hehe and what I saw is that there is no lifeguard in the areas but from then on it is perfect

Family camps here quite often. They take good care of this state ran lake. There is the $10 parking fee here. The marina restaurant is also a good place to eat at if you haven't tried it. Good fishing also at this lake. Restrooms are kept clean here normally and there are pavilions to do some cookouts with the family. They have little playground areas for the kiddos as well. Many different swimming areas all around the lake and several boat docks. Boat rentals at the marina! It's fun to take the kids to marina and watch the Huge carp by the docks.

Foss is a beautiful lake and state park. Lots of campgrounds and areas to explore. Not much shade on a hot day unfortunately. Most of the picnic tables are covered which is helpful.

Fishing, swimming and camping. There is an equestrian campground with 5 pens available. The sign said pens are $5/night. Some pens had shade, but where you park your trailer did not. The equestrian campsite has a boat ramp, bathroom and showers, but there is not a good swimming area. It was very grown up with no beachy area. Camping areas were well mowed. The park ranger was very nice and the nature center had some cool things including the white deer that use to live there. I suggest swimming at sunset beach. There is a lot of room to swimming with covered picnic tables. The beach is nice sand and the water was clear. As far as hiking I wasn't impressed. There's one trail that has to be shared by hikers, horses and bikes. It's just a mowed path that is 22 miles long. It crosses the road a couple of times that I could see. If you are camping with horses, the good swimming area is on the other side of the lake and a decent area is closer, but a different campsite. We really enjoyed swimming for the day, but probably won't camp. At the time of the photo is was 4 ft below level

One of our favorite places. Not too crowded, kid friendly, good people & a nice sandy beach. $8 for one day parking. Totally worth a visit
