“We had an amazing time staying here. Took my granny for a relaxing little getaway and this place was perfect! Spacious clean room, wonderful customer service, beautiful views, and something for all ages! Definitely will go back and have already told friends and family about the place!”
“I fell in love with Whitehorn Cove nearly 30 years ago when I moved from Tulsa to Fort Gibson Lake. The Marina offers a floating restaurant and bar with ample parking. This includes parking at the front landside entrance or lakeside where slips line the dock to the lakeside entrance. One can choose to dine inside or at the table and chairs situated along the dock where they have tied their boats.
The Marina store carries boat and fishing supplies, including live bait. If your boat runs low on fuel, no need to leave the water, just pull into the slip next to the Marina to access their fuel pumps. There's also a large slip that adjoins the fueling station where you will find floating restrooms.
Then there are the advantages that are nature given. I have photographed some of the most incredible sunrises, the occasional moonrise and astounding cloud formations from this very marina. Plus, in the last section of the marina (where the final 2 slips and the restrooms are) the marina has a designated fishing area. In my experience I have found it to be a place that is unparalleled for consistent crappie and bass fishing on Fort Gibson Lake.
There's more than I have covered here, and if you are ever in the area please come to Whitehorn Cove and experience all it has to offer for yourself.”
“We stayed in a cabin and even without a spectacular view , which you can absolutely have for a more premium price, we loved it and it was absolutely beautiful. We weren't told there were no dishes in the cabin so we actually could of gotten an even better deal had we known because we didn't bring any but ended up paying for a kitchen. There was a grill though so we were good. The atmosphere of the park is phenomenal and super dog friendly. Most guests had dogs when we stayed. There's many dining options nearby as well . Tjs Mexican restaurant in Taylor ferry is awesome. I definitely recommend this place for a quiet getaway.”
