I rented a car from OKC to drive to Lawton. I booked the rental for 1 day at $93. I ended up returning the car the same day I rented it, so I didn't even have the car 2 hours. When I went to return the car no one was at the desk. I waited about 20 minutes and no one showed up. I filled out the form with all the information and dropped the keys in the return. Today I received a receipt saying I had the car an extra day and I am being charged $202. There was also a fuel surcharge when I stopped and filled the car up, I even have a picture of the mileage and fuel level with a timestamp when I returned the vehicle. Now I will have to wait on hold forever to try to get my money back.

I don’t usually post negative reviews but this place had to be the exception. Showed up to the counter during normal hours around noon and ended up waiting nearly an hour for the person at the counter to return so we could rent the car.

NEVER use this branch again. My luggage did not make my flight so I had to put in a claim to get it. By the time I finished the agent had left for the night. I came back later in the night to retrieve my luggage and the other rental desk was staffed but the Avis desk was not. I had to book a local hotel and Uber back and forth. The next day I asked the agent why she did not walk the 75 FEET from the desk to the baggage claim to see if I were there. She gave me a blank stare. The agent's early departure and lack of imitative cost me to have to pay for an extra night in a hotel, 5 Uber trips, and a half day of work.

The car was dirty on the inside and outside. Woman's or cat hair was every where in the backseat. There was even a shoe ? under the driver's seat. Avis missed the mark on this rental

The associate was helpful and friendly, but the vehicles were in awful shape.There was quite a bit of damage, inside and out, the vehicle was outdated (pre-2012 base model), and the engine was struggling. I immediately returned the vehicle and was issued a total refund.Regardless of the lower price and decent customer service, I would suggest seeking a rental vehicle elsewhere.

I returned a rental car on 12/31/22 & left my wallet inside the car . Upon looking for my wallet I back tracked up to the the Avis rental establishment in Lawton Oklahoma & the clerk found my wallet inside the car & returned it untouched. The ladies name was Tiffany & I want Avis Rental Car administration to know I appreciate her honesty & integrity. It was displayed how she value her job, Avis as a company to work for, & her integrity as a person.

If ur gonna have to relocate rental and drop of at another site don't use avis, got hit with a 750 plus tax charge for doing so, enterprise is where u should be if this is ur situation, same charge there is only 250

I was given a Toyota Corolla which was in the category of car class I rented. My issue is it has several dents and scratches and areas with damage. The car had a rattle at highway speeds or while idling. My last issue was with technology, this is the first car in the last decade that did not connect to my phone for the use of the map app, without having to use a cord. To be clear my issues all revolve around the vehicle1. Damaged2. Rattled3. Technology.

Very disappointed had a reservation with them through AmEx with confirmation numbers and my card was charged, get to the desk closed go out to car lot sign says please go to Enterprise for service, then told they are out of cars and with my reservation with Alamo none available and then Enterprise says they have nothing available as well. I was told to try another rental car company. When I got to there they were also out of cars, they were so apologetic even though it was not their fault and advised me that couldn’t rent the cars they had on the lot because they were reserved for their customers with reservations very honorable that’s what the company I booked through should’ve done. Will never trust that company or Amex again, will give my further business to the company that apologized when they didn’t promise’s and gave me options…

On July 14 My husband made a reservation through Priceline, everything was prepaid. He picked up the car (compact) and the rental was supposed to be until July 18th because our vehicle was at the shop and wasn’t ready he extended the rental until July 21st with the deposit that was on file. Everything was good and our vehicle was ready a day early he dropped the rental off in July 20. As soon as he dropped off the vehicle they tried to charge us $2666 on our card, card was blocked and they couldn’t. My husband called the branch and they said it was because we dropped the vehicle off a day early (insane). On July 22 I checked the bank account and say they it was overdraft and when I see why it was because Avis charged us $2484.96 for a car that was prepaid already and a compact car that was a day barely $91 a day. My husband called avis and they where not helpful, we had to call Our bank and make a fraudulent activity report on avis. We called Priceline and they told us that avis is not supposed to charge us anything because it was already paid through them and they will summit a claim. In my life I never seen this happen, I just want my money back and never deal again with avis, I would not recommend them to anyone because I don’t want them to go through what we are going right now. Be aware of them and make they try to steal your money making insane charges to you for no reason.

When I was quoted online I was told I would pay around $400 dollars. When I went to pick up the car I was told that I would pay $600 and that’s what is listed on the receipt. Right after my card is swiped I was charged $800. I don’t care how you play with the numbers but Avis is a straight up scam. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. Enterprise is 100% better and they don’t lie about expenses.

Horrible service. Our car broke down yesterday, called avis emergency services.Had a chat with them to tow the car and pick us up asap. She said she'd call back when she has someone on their way and they would drive us to Avis for a replacement. Never called back, no tow truck arrived, nothing.Today we drove into Lawton airport to see if we could have our replacement. Apparently Avis emergency services never called in to Avis rental about this and they would not give us a replacement until emergency services had confirmed they'd towed the car. We had all papers to prove we rented the car.Lousy service and unaccomodating. They did nothing about this. They would not even call emergency services to fix the situation

My hubby has a rental right now from Avis airport. The car is really good. But the problem is every thing not vacuumed n wiped as it said sanitization inside. There no paper inside like the note say IT SANITIZATED AND CLEAN. Man, I drove home and gotta SANITIZE EVERYTHING INSIDE before we leave out of town. You know I have to do it cuz the previous already used n not sure how it stayed in parking lot ?♀️?♀️
