I paid for a one day rental and the clerk told me to have the car back before my time because i will be charged an additional day because she was getting off work. My drop was supposed to be at 5pm but she cut my time by an hour. Totally wrong

They did not explain that my prepaid reservation through Avis wasn’t available. I was given a new reservation through Budget authorized a new amount. My car is in the shop I’m currently waiting 3 to 5 business days for my refund. I can’t pay my mechanic. I would have the prepaid $212 returned to my account had they issues a refund 4 days ago. Now I’m out $638 and no vehicle. They’re still holding $417.07 after their other charge has posted. I’ve called about the hold on my card and they can’t find it. So I’m having to submit my bank information showing the hold is still there. Unacceptable!

Booking the reservation was some simple and the checkout process was just as simple. The price paid was a great rate as well. The airport was small so the Budget Rental counter was very easy to find. Also I have to note that the reservation agent on duty noticed I booked my flight right at the time she was getting off and called me to tell me she could stay 30 mins later but if the flight was delayed much longer than that I would have to get the car the next morning. She went above and beyond and you don’t see that as much anymore. This experience was one of my better ones in this trip.

The interior of the vehicle was disgusting. The seats were badly stained and it smelled like stale smoke when I turned on the air conditioning. The vehicle registration expired in March of 2023, it is end of May. When I picked up the vehicle in Lawton, OK, I didn’t have a vehicle inspection with the woman, I was handed the keys and she said it was out in the third row somewhere. After hitting the alarm and finally finding it, it wasn’t in the third row. It took me a while to find the vehicle. Once I returned it in San Antonio, I had no idea the process. No one checked the vehicle, or checked the fuel. I was walking around trying to find someone to check me out. I went to the window and gave my papers to the guy and he said I was good. Then I told him that the registration was expired and he had a confused look on his face, then he said why are you telling me. Well I don’t want anyone to get pulled over in your vehicle with expired registration. Overall, worst rental expiration. I rather pay a little bit more and go through any other company than Budget.

Make sure you read your paperwork. You can't go by their word. I paid my deposit and stated I needed the rental from Friday evening until Monday. I was told to have it returned before 6:00 pm on Monday 01/09/2023 to not be charged an extra day. Silly me didn't look at the paperwork and was charged almost my full deposit for that extra day because it was supposed to be returned 01/08/2023 before 6:00pm. NEVER AGAIN WILL I RENT FROM THEM. I SHOULD HAVE RECORDED HER.

I thought I was getting a KIA soul, I'm very short, they gave me a Toyota corolla, like a sport car,very hard for me to get in and out of!!! I could barely see out of the windshield!!!

Roadside assistance left us for 5 1/2 hours in the hot sun, for a simple flat. The vehicle did not have a spare tire. From the time I called for assistance to being back on the road was 8 hours and 47 minutes, poor service is an understatement.This has nothing to do with the service picking up the vehicle at the Lawton Budget, they are great, it was only the service provided through their roadside assistance that was awful.

Made reservation on line through the site. It was for 2 o'clock. Arrived at the counter to find no one there. Note on counter says to text a phone number. Did so to find out no one would be here until 2:45 at the earliest and said she had no reservation. Waiting for someone to show up and see what happens.Person at counter finally showed up with conversation. Reservation was in the system. Didn't get the correct car I reserved. Car was dirty and smelled. Finally got out of the parking lot a little over an hour late of my reservation.Wouldn't recommend budget and especially this location to anyone.Spend a few more dollars and get what you pay for.Again, terrible experience on all levels.

Great car rental. We were having some major issues with things that were beyond our control and the Budget/Avis personnel step.right in and helped us come up.with a solution. Differently using this car rental again.

I reserved Vehicle on line for 7days, given a price of $617.00, when I got to Oklahoma Airport and got to Budget Counter I was charged $ 778.00. hidden fees not Fair. I was disappointed ?

Your pick up hours are inconvenient and your prices are high and staff was rude and told me that because I was scheduled to pick my vehicle at 12 pm and i arrived at 230 pm I was probable not going to be able to get my rental. Rental was paid for already and there no other pick up times available.

The lady at the checkout when I picked up the vehicle was super nice and helpful. Poor gal had to deal with a rather annoying customer 2 people in front of me and she handled it very professionally. I picked up the car around 5 P.M. 9/8, and didnt get her name, but she should be commended for being so great.I was told by another customer if you're late picking up the car, they will give it to someone else. Not sure of the policy on that, but just a heads up if you're going to be late, maybe call them.

My flight was early and I inquired if I could get the car early. It was only after I looked today that I found I was charged an extra $25. What I thought was an act of kindness was a charge off to me. On top of that the car was disgusting and had not been cleaned or washed in who knows how long. Thanks Budget
