“This review is not for the bank, but it is for a specific employee. I’m not sure if everyone called in sick or if this branch just doesn’t employ enough people to service our community. The Saturday morning line was to the door when I walked in. There are three tellers of about 10 possible. There is a crowd waiting in the lobby for the bankers and there are only 2 bankers and seven empty offices. Despite the understaffing, I had a great experience with Samantha at this branch. She is the check-in person. I needed a new debit card printed and she could have easily told me to wait in that line that stretched the door. I wouldn’t have known the difference and she also had her own line that had 10 people in it. Instead, she said, “I can do that for you”… then called out to everyone in line and asked them, “does anyone here have an appointment that I could check them in?” This is a top-notch employee that serviced everyone within minutes. All with a smile and didn’t even take an opportunity to throw her company or coworkers under the bus when I commented on her situation. I’m seeing fewer of these types of people when I enter an establishment… and that’s because the companies pay little and expect a lot and people are not buying into that model anymore. It seems like this person was working to her own standard and I sure hope the company knows what they have in this employee.”

I give this particular branch 5 stars.As someone who is naturally skeptical regarding change, I found myself bypassing this branch, which is very close to where I live now, for 2 years and driving 9 miles out of my way to use a branch I was more familiar with. However, I found myself in a crunch for time last week with several transactions needing addressed that day. So with a great deal of reluctance and pretty low expectations, I went to this branch to do my business.To my surprise, I was greeted with a genuine "hello, how may I help you" from an associate behind the reception desk. Not one of those "WELCOME TO BLAH BLAH BLAH" geeetings almost shouted at you by an over caffeinated store manager somewhere. Or the same greeting meaninglessly regurgitated by an employee required to do so. I approached with a little less reluctance but still low expectations.I was there to do 3 things that day. Each transaction was unrelated to the other but each as important. I anticipated being passed around at least twice and it taking me 15 minutes, at best, to complete all my business. Much to my surprise, the person that greeted me so warmly was also able to process all of my request and in about 5 minutes.I left there with a smile on my face and a much more positive attitude. All because someone was interested and empowered to help me. And now I have a new home branch.”
