Constructed in 1903, the mansion was the first home built in the Heritage Hills neighborhood and remains largely original to its established date. Visitors can step back in time and experience true Oklahoman history through guided tours of the property. The knowledgeable and patient tour guides provide fascinating insights into the life of Henry Overholser, a prominent figure who played a pivotal role in the city's growth from 1889 to 1903. As the "Father of Oklahoma City," Overholser was an entrepreneur who convinced the Frisco Railroad to build its line into the city, and he was also involved in various aspects of political life. Visitors can explore the well-preserved rooms, including the captivating kitchen, and even use the old telephone for a unique experience. While the upper level may be inaccessible for safety reasons, the overall tour is highly recommended for those who enjoy historic homes and local heritage.

Such a beautiful rare historic jem with all the original furnishings from 1903 that have never left the home. The hand painted walls and ceilings are absolutely breath taking. It is a must see for sure!

I had such an amazing experience here, the woman working was such a sweet lady who told us soo many interesting facts about the house. Honestly the tour would not have been the same without her. Unfortunately I do not remember her name. I definitely recommend visiting here if you enjoy old homes or history of oklahoma.
