The staff here is very unwelcoming and inactive pertaining to treatment. The male nurse Scott whom works in the emergency room is extremely unprofessional, unpleasant and condescending. I do not plan on coming here again.

If I could give 0 stars I would!!! Very horrible experience. The registered nurse Scott is very rude, he ripped the IV out of the patients arm while she was in pain. Also shouted and told her that her pain wasn’t that bad. I do not recommend this emergency room at all! The patient was also wrapped in covers with urine on it. We notified the nurses and nothing was done about it.

My mother in law is in in this hospital and I would not recommend this hospital to anyone. There is no communication from nurses or doctors. This is the worst hospital when it comes to telling the patient about their care. We have been here for 3 days and if you don't ask you will not learn anything.

Please take my cell phone number off of the list of garrison tower. Have called and asked repeatedly for it to be taken down. That's disrespectful to your patients, not that ou values patient care anyway.

This hospital is leaps and bounds better then most others in the area! Much cleaner and more competent nurses and doctors!

I'm only leaving one star because of one person . If not for her it would be 5 starsI have to . I have a Subarachnoid hemorrhage inmy brain . I am in excruciating pain . Dealing with a rude nurse during this difficult time , has made me cry and and made my pain worse . Aftermaking me cry she went on to gossip about me . I'm right next to the nurses station and can hear . But she also said she heard I have been snappy. I have not however if I was I have a brain bleed !!!! What's her excuse?. I would hate for her to be in charge of elderly patients . Very unprofessional . The night gown that has vomit and diarrhea on it that I wore here in the ambulance has been on the counter since I have been here . . The doctors charge nurse and most other nurses are great . But one bad apple will spoil the bunch

Good luck getting anyone to answer the phone. Sat on hold for over 15 minutes… once the operator answered I was put on hold for another 10 minutes before she even transferred me to the appropriate nurses station.

Sadly if It’s OU it sucks. They have too much going on, too worried about training, too big, no time for a single person. If you are in Oklahoma you’ll get much better care at INTEGRIS

My son was in a motorcycle accident his stay was 2 days they released him in severe pain with nausea and vomiting and dizziness. They hadn’t even had him up and out of bed yet and they sent him home. No meds for nausea or pain were prescribed just told to take Tylenol and told to return to the clinic in 2 weeks no info on when to have staples removed. Nothing was explained to anyone. Was told by a nurse that neuro was very busy so they don’t communicate very well so they don’t have much information. No CT scan was given before he left to see if his brain swelling was better or not. He has been in tears because of the pain in his head. I feel they released him too soon. He was on the 5th floor they all seem like they don’t know anything. I can’t believe this hospital can even be allowed to be open with the terrible care they provide.

If you’re lucky enough to have the nurse we did you will love her!Victoria was amazing and so sweet! She was born to take care of people! I don’t think my husband wanted to be discharged.

the nurses are rude and never know what’s going on. trying to call and get information was next to impossible. call lights went unanswered for hours. no compression socks on a patient unable to walk for weeks. terrible, terrible hospital. all of the doctors and nurses suck.

I WOULD RISK MY LIFE TO AVOID THIS FACILITY! DO NOT STEP FOOT IN THERE WITHOUT A LAWYER PREPARED TO HELP YOU THROUGH ALL THE FRAUDULENT CHARGES! RECORD EVERYTHING AND DO NOT TRUST WHAT THEY SAY WHEN THEY ASK YOU TO “ SIGN IN” Know your rights before they send you down the assembly line because that’s all this hospital is. Every admin / nurse employee I watched inside this hospital were all equally rude to everyone that spoke to them. the phone service people are scam artists that offer no correspondents to be held responsible for the lies they tell at your expense. This place reeks of financial corruption and poor patient treatment. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I see why this hospital has such bad reviews. As soon as you walk in and all throughout the place there is a unpleasantly tense atmosphere. Most of the people that work here seem to be unprofessional, unskilled, lacking in basic human interaction skills, medical students. Most everyone is disconnected and somewhat rude with an attitude. There is a lack of signs and directions in the parking garage and in the hospital also. No maps. You ask for directions or any question in general, actually, most people that work in this hospital either look annoyed or don't have a clue of what you're asking them even though they work there every day. Also I get the distinct impression that most of the people that work there don't know what they're doing a 100% and so that lack of knowledge and professionalism gap is filled in with a negative condescending type of attitude that is somehow the accepted norm there. In my opinion Saint Anthonies is a way better hospital than OU Medical Center. Of course it doesn't take much to beat OU medical center And all the uncaring medical students working there, doctors an unprofessionalism and just sucks...bad. That is of course unless you have a penchant for less professional, less knowledgable hospital staff, in a generally tense, unhelpful and unpleasant environment. OU Medical Center at northeast 13th street in Oklahoma City, would be the last hospital I would go to. I would never choose to go there for ANY reason. I feel sorry for the people that unfortunately get roped in to going in there. I'll never go to that hospital. I wouldn't wish this hospital on my worst enemy. I couldn't figure out why they have signs on a lot of the doors inside the hospital saying "no violence allowed" when I've never seen that at any other hospital. I have a sneaky suspicion that maybe they've had a problem with that because they don't take care of their patients. That is my most discerning, honest, personal opinion and review of OU Medical Center. Considering all these really bad issues and the fact that they're in debt, their stock is becoming junk, and their professional ratings are plummeting, I predict this hospital will be shut down completely sometime in the near future. You reap what you sow. I hope this review might be of assistance to someone.
